Before you buy this car, found out about the zombie mode problem where you can not take off on D drive.
Are Kia and Hyundai part of the same automotive group, given that the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and 6 share similar interior displays and front designs with some Kia models? Is this similarity due to them being part of the same company, or is it common for electric cars to have similar designs due to manufacturing practices?

Kia and Hyundai do share components, yes they are under the same ownership.
