Bought a 2023 ZX-14R this year. Kawasaki recently sent me an in-depth survey asking me amongst other things why I bought the bike, riding history etc. It struck me as of they really care about meeting rider desires When I bought my Suzuki 2 -years past I never heard from Suzuki again. Very impressed with Kawasaki!

Well technically Yamaha do still produce the YZF-R6 but for track only. Wouldn't take much for them to reinstate it back into the road going version. I was pissed when I went into my local dealer when I was trying to fast track to my full license because I really wanted the R6 and the last one had just been sold that week and was told they had been discontinued!

Same with Honda. New CBR600RR is Japan only sadly. But it’s drive by wire now with new throttle, and full led, but still the iconic underseat exhaust. I’m really thinking about getting one just for the track. If weren’t broke lol…

The reason why r6 is gone from public is it wasn't selling anywhere but US, and it was becoming more expensive to make with the new regulations and it would have a high price tag so they made decision to stop production for public.

Just bought the new 2024 white and crimson zx6r and i was in disbelief at how amazing the bike is. I fucking love it.

My first bike was my dad's 1980 Kawasaki KZ1000 and ive been a diehard fan of Kawasaki since. The ZX-6R is on another level than all other 600cc bikes. I love mine and im going to be picking up a ZX-10RR soon as well.

Dude my dad's has kz1000 to! He learn to ride from my late grandfather who owns kz1100. Right now I'm saving my money to buy the 2021 zx10r krt. All those bikes are on my dad garage. All my family loves Kawasaki bike's. Especially green color are my favorite color and so do my dad and my late grandfather all of us like Kawasaki green

I've got a 2014 Z800 Kawasaki and its a real sleeper... Underrated and almost no electronics (except for ABS)but it's awesome 😊

I just bought a Kawasaki Eliminator 450. Not a sport bike but Kawasaki did a really great job on this bike! Went in buying a rebel 500 but the Eliminator honestly stole my heart and rides and handles great!

Literally just got one! Love this bike! Very playful and enough power for me. 😄 I come from a background from riding dirt bikes and wanted to take it to the road.

I had a 95 zx6r as my first bike and it saved my life more than I can count on both hands. I would rev than thing past red line 7 days a week for 3 years. Great bike

It seems like Kawasaki is leaving out quick shifters on bikes that probably most would benefit from it. Case in point the Z1000R (hyper naked muscle bike) misses out while the ninja 1000SX (sports tourer) gets it.

But with all that upgrade TFT display etc. They still didn't upgrade it to throttle by wire just like on the zx4 and zx25 which is a requirement for an autoblipper. I'd rather have an autoblipper on a sportsbike than a fancy gauge.

Kawasaki worked out years ago to add extra cc for extra midrange,, and to still build the 600cc bikes for racing 🏁, and the road,, literally the best of both worlds clever, very clever.

@@jonathoncook8367 so little story behind the bike and why i did get it, i have a buddy whos grandpa is rich and retired, like really rich and his hobby is building bikes because he doesnt run his shop anymore, he has been building this bike for the past 5 years, all performance parts, spent good time on the dyno, runs on premium so the internals are brand new and upgraded and it is my first bike so its way more power than i actually need. I honestly would have been completely fine with a slow slow bike but this is the opportunity i had where i have garunteed quality work, and its not like he gave me the title and told me to fuck off, not only do i have enough performance parts to build rhis bike ENTIRELY 3 times but any work i do need he does absolutely for free because i do alot for his grandson, even when he has to order things he doesnt ask for a dime , even when he trailers it 45 min back and forth to my house, i basically have a completely free warranty, the original intent was to make it a drag bike but he is old and has 13 other bikes to finish up so he sold me this one. I have decent money and good credit so i could get approved for most loans but this one just made sense especially with all the opportunities it comes with, its my learner bike anyway so upgrade will come with time, maybe a r1 or busa next ;) 🤣

@@obbezwiers get a fuel injected 1000cc anything. Thank me later. I had a driving instructor tell me if you want to actually go fast you need 1000cc and fuel injection. So I listened and got rid of my 99 cbr900rr.

Lol, I've had a 2007 cbr1000rr, I currently ride a 2007 gsxr-600 because I wanted a cheap bike to ride until I decided which new "liter bike" to buy. It's been a year now, and with the ECU flash, exhaust, and -2 tooth front sprocket. I don't want to give it up! Having more fun on this than I ever did on the cbr. Riding windy back mountain roads, not 180 mph straight down a hwy which I fine boring after 30 minutes.

Kawasaki with the 2023 H2 SX threw every bell and whistle I could think of at that bike save for an electric windshield. 998cc of supercharged awesomeness. And I even saw concepts of a hydrogen bike and an electric hybrid. Now that might get a lot of hate going the electric route but I can’t wait to see what these crazy engineers can come up with.

lol Im in so much debt with my first bike/love 2023 ZX-6R I took it to the track a few weeks after I got it and now I know. Im broke for life! truthfully though I cant afford anything and I do all the work for my bike myself. Its never going to go anywhere without me.

I think we need a new interpretation of the zzr600 from 93-04. The ninja 1000 is too heavy and offers only decent wind protection. But that zzr600 offered very good wind protection. If we can get one with the same ergos as the 93-04 models and lower seat with either the 636 and a retuned zx10r engine id be really happy

The first thing to go through my mind was the incremental decrease in HP and TQ, not the cosmetics. As a Team Green proponent, I'm still sticking with Kawi, I just know to skip the year 2024. lol It'll be majorly popular in Europe.

It's funny to say, but it's true that Kawasaki doesn't upgrade any designs. All they do is change colors, reduce fairings, make minor additions or reductions, then they add additional price

Zx4rr is an awesome new bike. The price doesn’t make sense though. It’s 10k, they need to be in the 7-8k range to make sense in my opinion

Thing is, it's not engine size that makes the cost but the quality of the parts on it. It's almost the same cost to make a 400, 600 or 1000cc engine...

@@jonathoncook8367 better brake calipers and masters, suspensions with greater running range, lighter wheels (for size). The R6 and the R1 don't use the same grade components, you don't pay for power, you pay for the whole package. That's why KTM and Ducati are usually more expensive than japanese

@@jorgecosta95 KTM has zero differences compared to any twin cylinder/single cylinder/ inline 4 bike. Ducati has that over complicated valve system sure but I don’t think that should add 30k in value. You pay for power. If you really think calipers, master cylinder, shocks and whatever else you said is the difference then I think your stupid. It’s all the RnD they put in to make a very small cc inline 4 motor.

Back in '07 when I had the brand new style zx6r when they stopped making the 636 for a few years, people drooled over my bike. I even won a bike show at Hooters with it and I didn't even do nothing to it but put red lights on it

supersport(the 600 class) is litery just rpm limited gsxr750, kawi 636 and completely unlimited r6. they just allowed custom porting on r6 to stay competitive. but for a privateer, the big bores where you dont have to do any expensive motor work just makes more sense. there is also single examples of a mv agusta f3 and a ducati twin but those arent realistic options.
