2024 Himalayan 450 Headlight - How is it? How is the throw?
Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is a adventure bike available in 4 variants and 5 colours. The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is powered by 452cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 39.47 bhp and a torque of 40 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 comes up with anti-locking braking system. This Himalayan 450 bike weighs 196 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 17 liters.
The new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is the successor to the 411cc iteration of the motorcycle. It’s not an updated offering but a brand-new motorcycle that has been developed from the ground up. The new chassis, modern engine, and contemporary features now make it a more worthy contender to the likes of the KTM 390 Adventure and Triumph Scrambler 400 X.
While the bike retains a silhouette similar to the previous model, it looks sleeker and more athletic. Also, the new colour options lend it a fresh visual appeal. The new colour options include Kaza Brown, Slate Himalayan Salt, Slate Poppy Blue, Hanle Black and Kamet White.
Underneath the new bodywork is an all-new 450cc engine. This is the first engine from Royal Enfield with liquid cooling and offers 40bhp and 40Nm. It comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch as standard. Other features include a colour TFT screen with Google Maps and Bluetooth connectivity. Moreover, it also gets switchable ABS and ride-by-wire throttle.
The Himalayan 450 weighs 196kg; a few kgs lighter than the 411 while the fuel tank capacity is increased to 17 litres. Talking about dimensions, the standard seat height of this ADV is 825mm but it can be decreased and increased significantly. Further, the ground clearance and wheelbase stand at 230mm and 1,510mm, respectively. As for the cycle parts, the Himalayan 450 rides on a 21-17-inch spoke wheel combination that is suspended Showa USD forks and a monoshock while braking is handled by a single disc at both ends.

Agree on this.. however it also depends on the intensity of the lights. What you saw in the video - you have to factor in the effect of GoPro as well. GoPro doesn’t show you exactly what it is like. That’s the reason I added the first shot with the camera and not GoPro. That will help everyone to make those decisions atleast, if they have not seen the bike in actual or haven’t had an opportunity to ride it yet.

LED lights are bad for oncoming traffic - yes Halogens are overall better than LED's - yes But from a riders POV, LED's provide a very soothing, calming effect. It sort of helps in reducing stress. I don't know how to expain this, you have to experience it. They also heat way less and consume just a fraction of the power that a halogen consumes. They can also last a lifetime, whereas there is no guarantee how long a halogen bulb will last. Either one or both the filaments can bust at any time. If your daily commute involves night rides or for night rides in general, LED's are more reliable and dependable.

Dada I from. Siliguri i live in small Village roads not good you know, i am planning to buy Himalayan 450 over classic 350 i don't like 350 . I don't do so much touring. It's like my normal use bike. I also have splendor😂 . Give me good advice ❤

Looks like the same LED headlamp that RE gives for Super Meteor and new INT650 and GT650, is this headlamp better than the LED headlamp provided for the above models or its the same? Because I’ve heard people saying the LED headlamps of Super Meteor, INT650 and GT650 really sucks.

If you are working in an organisation which has its offices in more than 4 states then you can apply for that.
At 5:29 the lights couldn't make any difference on the dark spots of the road! Very disgusting lights!

If you just want me to agree to your point, then okay. I Agree. I just told you what I saw with my naked eyes vs what’s being captured in GoPro. However it’s your right to take a test ride and get a feel of what it would look like under the street lights or under moon light. I have given my perspective 😁
