The top 10 hardest schedules contain 9 SEC schools and GT. Tough schedule and 7 wins for key would be huge with a marquee win like ND. It all comes down to how Tech does with Stantucci as DC. We weren’t just the worst run defense in the ACC we were the worst power 5 run defense 129th. Geoff Collins is UNCs DC though so I ain’t worried about that game.

As a Tech fan, I think this is pretty fair. I'm a big fan of the new Defensive Coordinator they brought in, and I think they've done well in the transfer portal on that side of the ball. I could see them winning every game you had them winning and one of FSU/Miami/VT. They have to pray for health, as their depth isn't where it needs to be, but they have weapons on offense and a very good offensive line. If their defense can even get to "Slightly below average," they could have a really great year.

Honestly as a tech fan, if this was the result of this season, I'd take it in a heartbeat. Beating Notre Dame and NC State both in Atlanta as well as beating Geoff Collins in Chapel Hill is more than enough and improvement on W/L from last year

I’m probably too optimistic, but I think just the coaching staff changes on defense will be a huge improvement. Really think they’ll shock a lot of people. When Haynes King cuts down on the INTs, and the offense stays the same, he’ll absolutely be in the peripheral Heisman talks. Offense is going to be a menace. If the defense improves (just into the 50’s or 60’s instead of 120s) the only two losses might be 2 of UGA/FSU/and ND. 🤷‍♂️. Bookmark it, ratio me, but I think they’ll surprise a lot of people.

GT has become a very competitive school. I think 7-5, Virginia Tech, Louisville, NC state, Florida st and Miami games should determine how good they will be this season.

I would be very happy with 7 wins. This is a tough schedule. Wouldn’t go as far as to predict a notre lame win because they always beat us unfortunately. With less turnovers and a serviceable defense we will be pretty good!! Watch out!!

Sounds about right to me to and i really think they are capable of beating everyone on that schedule except Georgia now will that happen that remains to be seen but ive been saying for a while that i except Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech to be much improved and at the top of the ACC which still aint saying much but I think they will have really good year compared to what they have been

I think Tech has the chance to be very good this year. The only game I see them having no realistic chance of winning is Georgia. It all comes down to if the offense can continue to improve like they did the last few games of last year. The other even bigger factor, can the defense just be consistantly decent. I think the offense has the potential to be the best in the ACC this year. Defense, is definantly a major concern.

Georgia Tech is a team who could be as bad as 3-9 or as good as 10-2, depending on what goes their way.

I think 8-4 is doable for us. Bringing back a lot of our offense can help too. 8-4 is more than manageable for us. We've had the talent before even under Geoff Collins but he was such a bad coach our great players would hit the portal. Key has already shown how good he is of a coach. Some of our fan base has been too critical of Key from his past jobs at UCF or under Collins.

Again, everything has context, yet people who don't give two shits about research and knowing the ins and outs of a team that isn't their own love to pretend to have all the knowledge. Either way, UGA beat are ass and even if we had been at full strength, we most likely would have still lost to them because they were the best team in CFB last year. Why did they choked against Bama, who they are clearly better than, idk... #anygivensaturday, but I know one thing... that still doesn't justify the decision to leave FSU out.
