Nice to see one muscle car left on the market (that you can get with a manual.) You almost have to have it as a 2nd car though, if you have a lot of snow with its RWD. (I must confess I was a little disappointed that many of the switches are now in the digital display rather than actual knobs. The car should have the modern comforts but still feel "old school" with the knobs, etc.) Thanks for the review.

Thanks for watching. This is a REALLY good Mustang. I wouldn't worry too much about winter. A good set of winter tires should get you through most conditions once the plows have done their thing. My issue with the Mustang is the rear seat legroom. A little more and it would more useful for a wider range of drivers. But still a great car!

@@PeterLoweOne True, I remember driving in the 1960s when everyone had RWD cars. I do remember the frustrations in the 1980s though driving my RWD Buick Grand National trying to get up a steep snowy hill when all these little FWD cars just buzzed by no problem. After that I had to buy a FWD winter car. (Wish I still had that muscle car.) Those Mustangs are nice, but are getting out of sight as far as their prices for the GT models....but I guess you gotta "pay to play" 🙂

@@pcthayer Yeah! Pricing has definitely changed. I've been working around EVs for a long time and I remember them saying that price parity between EVs and gas cars wasn't too far away... I thought they meant EVs were going to get cheaper, not gas cars were going to get more expensive! 🤣 To be fair to this mustang though, there's a lot more tech and expensive parts in this one compared to muscle cars of our youth... So in some ways, I understand the price.

@@PeterLoweOne True, they have all the tech which is expensive. The 4 cyl Mustang is reasonably priced, but the GT once you get some of the options it is into the BMW price range. The GT is the one that everyone wants, but the EcoBoost model is the one most people buy.

What us the 0-60 mph time for the Mustang GT convertible ?

Mustang came first

My biggest problem with modern pony cars is they are completely impractical and are now only marketed to angry macho men. The 1980s- 2000s Mustang and Camaro were hatchbacks and you could buy a calm base model. I'd rather get one of the German cars instead.
