By the time I get this truck home, I’m looking to pay at least $46,500.00 minimum, for a three seater entry level truck, and don’t forget payments of well over $600.00 a month. “Forget About It”.

Short comment: Beautiful truck and love your enthusiasm. You seem like a very easy going sales specialist. Pricing is nuts! Long comment: It must be said it is crazy how much the private banking cartel, called the Federal Reserve, has de-vauled the purchasing power of the dollar. The top 1% have increased their wealth by up to and exceeding 50% in the last few years. Everyone else have seen nothing or a decrease either in wage or hours given. This is not the fault of Ford or very professional Jorge but it is worth saying. Vehicles have increased by as much as 33% since 2019. Either manufacturers are going to have to find ways to reduce costs back to pre 2019 era or the future looks bleak for auto makers. If a first time vehicle buyer (18 to 21 year old) did buy this truck with current interest rates of 8 or 9 or 10% could they even afford it? $45k financed at 8% interest 72 month (6 years) loan = $789 a month $45k financed at 9% interest 72 months (6 years) loan = $811 a month How much is insurance for an 18 to 21 year old = $2600 to $6400 a year ($216/mo to $533/mo) Would an 18 to 21 year old have good enough credit to be offered 8% or 9%? A first time car buyer would need to take home at least $12068 up to $15868 after taxes just to pay the car payment and the insurance. If their housing is $1200 a month, food $600 a month, cell phone $120, internet $60, electricity $150, Water & sewer $150, trash $40, credit card payment $200, clothing and entertainment $200 = $32640 $32640 (living expenses) + $12068 (vehicle + insurance) = $44708. Are there alot of fresh adults 18 to 21 years old that take home $44k a year after taxes? If so that is incredible, but I know when I was 18 to 21 I made minimum wage for a few years and worked as many hours as I could while caring for an underage sibling after mom lost her house to the bank and divorce. At 19 I became self employed and some months made nothing and worked as many as 80 to 100 hours a week, working 7 days a week. After a few years I bought a 20 year old Toyota pickup with a 20R engine for $3k that I used for the business. Wish I still had that truck. No way I would have been able to afford a pretty new truck such as this with all its technological awesomeness. Loved the video though, you presented it well. Thank you Jorge.

I hear you and you make a valid point, especially for first-time buyers; I should of added about first timer needing a cosigner, also it is crucial to factor in various elements such as inflation and parts availability when talking about the value of the vehicle as well but your insight adds valuable perspective to the topic at hand. I appreciate your input, thanks for watching

This is a vehicle aimed to a 18-21 year old who lives with their rich parents in a suburb. For the rest of 18-21 year old's who are on their own, (or even middle class) they can FORGET about this truck and buy a 2010 Toyota Camry with 60k miles on it. No, seriously. 40k for a base truck is here to stay. This is not going to change, ever.

Hello there, Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns with us. Your perspective is important, and I want to assure you that transparency and ethical practices are at the core of everything we do at our dealership. I completely understand how the content of the video may have raised questions about our business practices. It's crucial for us to address any misconceptions and reaffirm our commitment to integrity. At our dealership, we offer a range of services and aftermarket items, such as sprayed-in bedliners and security systems. While we believe these additions can enhance the value of a vehicle, we never impose them on customers who don't see the same value. Ultimately, the choice of what to purchase rests entirely with the customer. I want to emphasize that these optional items do not define our ability to sell vehicles. Our priority is always the satisfaction and trust of our customers. A vehicle can be replaced, but a customer's trust cannot. That's why it's imperative for us to prioritize doing what's right, ensuring that every interaction leaves a positive impression. Your feedback serves as a valuable reminder of the importance of clear communication and ethical conduct. I genuinely appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as it allows us to address any concerns and continue to improve our practices. I hope you enjoyed the video, and I'm excited to share more content with you in the future, especially as we explore the exciting changes in the F150 lineup. Thank you again for your feedback, and please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions or concerns.

They do listen...to the government. Needless safety features and the necessity to sacrifice their profitable business segment (trucks) to fund mandated EV and EPA policies. Cylinder deactivation has killed reliability in V-8 motors. Fuel economy has forced 4-cylinder motors to perform the function V-8's performed w/o being stressed in normal duty. Fuel economy per square footage footprint has eliminated the small, fuel efficient truck. The government does not want us to have Internal Combustion Engines, but are not preparing an electrical infrastructure.

I think ford announced price drops on the electric line up which includes the Lightning and Mach E. I do know though, that ford has rebates on these now and they didn't a few months ago. This could help. I remember back in the day where i used to sell regular cab F150 new for $15000 😬😬😬now, $42k!!!! I see you would buy at $38k out the door but its going to be impossible now. That would mean you need to purchase at $35k plus ttl to get to $38k . You are about $3k away from getting one. Maybe ford would increase their rebates to help you accomplish what you want. Hey, best of luck and i appreciate your visit to my channel. It would be awesome to have you subscribe for more F150 content.

@@AskjorgelopezFords lost touch with blue collar Americans. Doctors and lawyers kids get $40k first time vehicles, and that's probably not gonna be a pickup. A pickup is what workin people drive, homesteaders drive, coal miners, plumbers, construction workers. I'm not talking about what the bosses drive. They get the lariat and the king ranch models. Joe public making $45k a year paying a mortgage and raising kids arent gonna buy this. Theyll go buy used trucks from someone else. I'll also guarantee theres alot more Joe Publics than bosses and small business owners that buy the lariat and king ranch models. I've had my 2016 and take it fishing, haul firewood, tow my lawncare trailer. It's a xl supercrew fx4 mid package and I thought $32k was outrageous when I bought it,but I've kept the mileage low and it's well maintained. Very well said I can only agree with what you're saying. All car manufacturers are out of touch, makes me wonder if they want to go out of business or the government wants us to ride a bicycle to work to save us from global warming lol. Joke aside but I don't see this sales strategy being successful in the long run where people struggle to put money on the side for emergencies( repair, medical bills etc) but car manufacturers load their cars with unnecessary features and telling us you get the best deal nowadays like everyone can easily afford to pay $40k in this day and age. There's a reason why dealership's lots are full of inventory.

A lot of features ,if not most features are features nobody really needs . Power lift gate, electric adjustable seats you name it , the list is long. It's just another way of making big profits adding something that costs the manufacturers a few dollars but sell it for a fortune. That strategy is very popular. That truck you're trying to sell is really a truck that should be priced in the mid to upper $20,000 like we have seen before Covid. There's a reason car dealers have such a hard time selling trucks and suvs because almost nobody can't or wants to pay that much for something that was $15k to $20k cheaper not too long ago. People will stick to their cars , we're doing the same practice . Maybe to fix you guys problems would give us customers a huge discount in order to fix the market. Call it a lost in profits now but down the road it will pay off otherwise you guys will end up with no job in that industry because people aren't buying those overflated vehicles no more especially trucks and suvs.

The lack of basic work truck affordability rests in large part by the government. This truck is $45K out the door. Needless safety features and the necessity to sacrifice their profitable business segment (trucks) to fund mandated EV and EPA policies are at the core. Cylinder deactivation has killed reliability in V-8 motors. Fuel economy has forced 4-cylinder motors to perform the function V-8's performed w/o being stressed in normal duty. Fuel economy per square footage/footprint has eliminated the small, fuel efficient truck. The government does not want us to have Internal Combustion Engines, but are not preparing an electrical infrastructure that can support when there is no ICE.

The aluminum wheels are painted. Why not just make the wheels out of steel if they are coated in paint? In the People's Republic of Maryland where I live, sales tax is 6% for another $2400. This makes this lowest end truck with a V-8, single cab, short bed FORTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS.

I'm wondering how much Ford added to the price of the vehicle to "Include " the digital dash, I would much prefer to not have that on the truck, if you only drive your vehicles for a few yrs and then sell them, then it may or may not be a problem, but years down the road there is no doubt people will be swearing at ford for saddling the truck with such a big potential for headaches on what should be a kind of basic truck.

Digital dashboards have become the new standard in today's trucks, replacing analog gauges as we embrace the digital era. While there are still those who favor the traditional dashboard, I encourage you to explore the benefits of the digital display. It offers a multitude of advantages, making trucks more user-friendly, whether it's for maintenance, towing, or hauling tasks.

Hey there! I totally feel your frustration. I remember the days when trucks like these went for a fraction of today's prices. Times sure have changed, thanks to inflation and other factors. But here's the silver lining: these regular cab trucks are still a blast to work on, and they come packed with some seriously cool technology that's making them super popular. Seriously, they're flying off the lot! Thanks a bunch for stopping by and sharing your thoughts. Every comment means a lot to me, so keep 'em coming! To much technology to go wrong. Hit 100k miles the motors belt driven oil pump needs replaced cost a fortune. 10r80s cdf drum randomly goes out costing a fortune. By the way your all digital cluster just took a shit and your shifter wont pop up out of the center console. All for only 40k!

I can see your point...but I believe it's fantastic that Ford is embracing the digital era and moving forward with tech advancements. In today's competitive landscape, it's vital for businesses to stay ahead of the curve. If Ford were to stick solely to the classic look without integrating modern technology, they might risk falling behind other competitors who are innovating in this space. It's a smart move for Ford to keep up with the times and remain relevant in the market. Thank you for watching !

For $20K, I would be interested. For $40K, I'm not interested at all. My '96 F-250 cost $18K, has 225K miles on it, but I'll keep driving it, not pay $40K for a new one. Too much inflation there. Also, the fuel economy label of this 2024 V8 (with gas nearing $3.80 /gallon these days) is far below what I can afford. Where is the I-6 option? No turbochargers for me, I want a reliable powertrain for 200K miles and I don't tow heavy trailers. Don't want expensive to replace computer screens in the dashboard either. Simple mechanical gauges and a regular radio are all we need. And an alternator gauge is mandatory for someone who drives the kind of miles I do. That gauge has helped me avoid getting stranded along a road someplace, and gave me time to get my truck to a dealer for alternator replacement. Oil temperature is important to turbo motors, but I will have none of those in any truck I own, so the oil temp gauge should be replaced with an alternator gauge on non-turbo trucks. Nice video, very good presentation of the truck.

I get where you're coming from. A used car can be a great way for a new driver to build character and responsibility-plus, there's always that fun game of "What's that noise?" But some folks prefer the safety and peace of mind that comes with a new vehicle for their kid. Sure, a used car might be easier on the wallet and have lower insurance rates, but it's not exactly the same when it comes to reliability. And in a world where "It's not supposed to sound like that" is not the reassurance you want, I'd say you can't put a price on your kid's safety.
