Your F-150 looks incredible! The regular cab, short bed is so nice. It’s nicely optioned, too! That locker and the 5 liter are so good for getting around. In a world of crew cabs, you have a rare and fantastic truck.

looks fun. but short wheel base, no weight on real wheels, jumping not independent rear suspension will make this truck literally a spinner on the winter ice road. super unsafe even with awd enabled.

That grill is definitely a throwback to the late 80s model

Loving the simplicity and looks of this trim, great job Ford!

For an XL truck I'm really impressed with the look. A couple tasteful add ons made this a sweet ride. 5.0 and 3:73s is mint. I have a '22 supercrew xlt with the same engine /gear ratio. Love it.

How is the gas mileage with that V8? And do you know how long this V8 has been around? I'm wondering about longevity. I've heard others say not to trust the turbos because they go bad before the engine does. Your thoughts?

I used to hate ford f150s but this new look has attracted me and now I’m loving this trim, beautiful truck!

Good looking truck and I am one of the people that like the new grill. Also glad there’s no chrome.

Love the stance, I put the rear fender well liners in my 2023. I painted the gray on all 4 rotors black around the bolt up area on my black 20 inch rims to add to the black look. I am with you on the new front grill

Great looking pickup. I think the new style grill looks very good and I liked that you stayed with the black bumpers.

I like the way looks over the lariat.

I have a feeling Ford knows people are buying the XLs to turn into sport trucks, so they kind of specced them a little more in that direction with this one.

Perfect! Regular cab and short box is exactly what I want. I really like the black out details but I would have to do something with the front and rear Ford badges (too loud). The grill is one of my favorite parts on the 2024. I like how it incorporates the headlights into a seamless front end. I'm going with carbonized gray with black out except the rims. Best looking 2024 I've seen so far. I subscribed to see updates. You got a real nice truck there!

@@Bikes0420 the us government is the reason they made a mach e, and lightning. I’m talking about a v8 short wheelbase f150 and my 23 f250 super duty with a pushrod v8 with a solid front axle. You know not what you speak.

I have to admit initially I was not happy on the grill, but you called. The more I looked at, the more I liked it. =). I really this blue. It goes so nice on this truck.

Nice truck luv the the black grill and bumpers I have a 2016 dodge regular cab Short box with the Hemi 6 speed automatic luv It easy to park gets decent milage my dodge is all blacked out 20 inch rims I was going to get a new crew cab ,but 75000 Canadian dollars saw this one in the used lot I'm retired not a lot of dough and figured I didn't need a big hulking gas guzzling pick-up 140,000 k runs like a dream back in the day mid 70s up here in Canada all us teenagers had Short box regular cabs 4x4 pickups the most useful cheap pickup we could get ,beginning to see more of them here in Canada now

I fell in love with the new grill. Was planning on getting a 24 like yours but then they offered the crew cab STX 5.0 4x4 for $9,000 off sticker and 1.9% financing. So now I have a 23.

Really like the way they are doing the new XL truck If you want to paint match the grill and bumpers its a pretty easy set up with it being the black instead of chrome. Your truck looks great plan on doing one later this year or next but going to whipple it cause why not.

Ordered mine this morning!!! Can’t wait! Went with 4wd and viscous dampening tailgating black. Gonna build that sucker. Borla Atak, kooks headers, FBO, 3/5 drop, etc

@@Forever.Remain.Nameless dealer said 3 months is their standard estimation but since they’re getting the 24 f150s in the lots currently the chances of it coming in 6-8 weeks is high. The ones hitting lots are pm all 3.5s because the 5.0 reg cabs don’t rly get ordered by the dealers much. I’d imagine they probably just mean it may come with some of them🤷

Nice that you can still get an XL from the dealer. I have a ‘95 F150 XL. It’s got the steel wheels, 300 I6, 5 speed manual, manual everything. I can’t recall anything breaking because there’s nothing to break

Always wanted the 5.0 in a single-cabbed, short-boxed F-150 in Race Red. XLT preferably. 4x4 would definitely be a welcome bonus.

Looks great. I have a 22 same color but XLT. I love the updates they made to the screens. Makes me wonder if I could upgrade mine using parts from the 24. I like the front end update too. It has plenty of pep and makes decent fuel economy stock but... adding a blower is always an option.

No doubt, it's quick already but will be getting a 3.0L whipple kit when they release it for 2024 model year!

The over the hump bottom cup holder attachment from Ford is the way to go!

now thats gonna bug the shiz out of me. Im gonna buy a 4 door just because now.. lol jpjp. I am going for a 4 door ranger but waiting for the 2.7... its gonna be a beast after exhaust, intake, tune and a couple more little things... inner cooler..blow off valve..ect. its gonna be a fun little midsize.. ✌

I remember when XL trim was no frills, roll up windows, stick shift, plastic seat and had to use the key to lock the.doors. That looks like a nice loaded truck.

Refresh looks great. I have one on order. Do you know if any of the '23 suspension parts will work with the '24? I ordered a drop kit for a '23 not thinking, hah.

Nice truck, I have a 2019 XL supercab with the STX package, it has just the things I like on it. I don't need all the stuff that the Lariats and up have that drain your battery life. I learned a lot with my Wifes 2020 Lincoln Nautilus, it has so much stuff on it that if you don't drive it much, the battery will drain and they cost a ton. I keep a battery tender on it while sitting in the garage.

I worry about dropping a bunch of $ on a Ford on many fronts. The one thing I DO like is that engine though. Your truck proportionally looks so right. The front end looks so right. The color is amazing and being paired with all the black makes the whole thing pop. Thanks for sharing. 2 questions for you. You hear often that ordering one the way you want it and waiting for it reduces all/most of the typical crazy markups. Was that the case with ordering one and getting gouged less with the out the door price? Also, how long did you have to wait after ordering it for it to arrive? I think you did well and this truck looks amazing. Thanks for sharing.

Headlight is led, but there still a reflector, not the higher end projectors. I ordered same exact truck, same color. We have good taste bud!

Full lock on wheels turning. Any rubbing or trimming needed to crash bars or front air dam areas? Offset on the wheels 38? Any rubbing issues on control arms top or bottom? Taking the blocks out and lowering it. Any vibrations because of the changes in pinion angle?

I REALLY like how it looks. Very proportional. The tech inside is something I actually really like, especially combined with the base model looks outside... It's bundled with all the tech, including emergency braking, yet they won't offer adaptive cruise control even as an option?? I totally get that most people buying this don't give a rats ass, but if you're including all that tech already.. why not? That would make it a perfect commuter and a hauler.
