I work in a factory on the west side of Michigan that makes the interior plastics for this. It was so interesting being able to identify 2 specific parts that I have made myself! All our machines are single operator, so I had to smile when I saw the parts that I personally put together!

For that kind of money it should have a digital rearview mirror. Honestly all vehichles should have a digital rearview mirror! Put something in the bed and the standard mirror becomes useless. That and the fact most if not all suv's are like looking in a tunnel with the standard mirror. Beyond my rant, it's a helluva nice truck and thanks for all the reviews.

The one I just ordered comes with an upper camera, I can check my load in the box or when towing ..I’m excited about the massage seats like my Lincoln had..

I agree the back end does not look distinct without the appliqué.

That platinum plus is like a fancy restaurant in the interior it's definitely a limited renamed. Seen one in person and man was I feeling calm in that interior. That platinum plus definitely beautiful inside and out. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Ya I’m buying fully loaded cause my dad passed and left me some money, otherwise theres no way. I have a 2021 Lariat now and it’s been great, but I thought I’d by a new car once for my retirement and I’ve had great luck with Fords in my 44 years in the Collision Shops

85K with massaging seats but no bed liner??? WTH

I love it, not the biggest fan of the powerboost, I would rather have the 5.0 V8. However still considering buying it next year.

I have a 2021 platinum powerboost it's no slouch it'll beat the v8 , and I'd say it's by far the best hybrid in the market

That front looks amazing

I’m waiting for the tuning, my 2020 Lariat with the 3.5l ecoboost has gotten 28mpg+ highway. I have had zero issues with the tuning, but I only tow occasionally. It is fast and fun to drive though, 0-60 in 4.9-5.0 seconds regular. A lot of gm 6.2l drivers have had to go home and dry their tears! Love the truck, over 500 horsepower, close to 650 foot pounds of torque. I just don’t know if I could part with it until the bugs are worked out of the newer trucks.

Ford marketed the platinum Plus with the new Tail Gate, we are currently only seeing the older cheaper looking tail gate with no platinum signage on the back, Customers are turning down the trucks they have ordered, because of the lack of the new tailgate, i can see these trucks being hard to sell as they are just not complete Ford needs to do better.

I have a Limited, absolutely nothing different than the name plate they've given it now

I noticed what I am going to call a blooper. When you showed the storage under the rear seat. It is obviously there for storage. BUT, how come the battery is not there? And, no place under the seat for storage? Whoops... OK correct me if I am wrong. Thanks...

I believe the PowerBoost optioned trucks don’t have the under seat inverter because the battery pack is under the bed. So you actually gain a little storage going that route.

The pricing doesn't make sense (on Ford's part). The Lariat with the B&O sound, twin panel moon roof, etc is cheaper than this Platinum with it. The price difference is around $10k and the only other discernable difference is the 22" tires and interior fabric color. Am I missing something? Why would anyone buy this $85k when nearly the same truck with same features is $10k less?

I’ve never hated a front end more. The superduty is good, but this is just not it.

Can you at least speak to the negatives of the hybrid? I noticed the tac went zero /blank on your drive back doing 32 mph. I would hate that feature and not worth $85k to be frustrated with how the power train works. Can you even get the top trim without the hybrid? If not Ford will lose lots of sales.

Ford is basically giving the power boost option away at this point. If it’s not a wash after the powerboost credit then it’s almost free.

I want ford to make an absolutely bare bones truck but it comes with a bedliner just to see what the people in the comments will decide to complain about.

Of all the way overpriced vehicles sold today, pickup truck prices are the worst. I see these trucks piling up on dealers lots because the demand for close to or over $100,000 trucks is practically nonexistent.

As a LONG time Ford owner (since 1998), they are about to lose me as a customer due to their HORRIBLE customer service or shall I say DIS service. Still waiting on my 2024 Platinum Plus ordered early November 2023. Seems like constantly getting recalls and I need a back up truck while one of my others is in the shop. Jim Farley needs to go or step up the game for Ford quality control. It's a shame they keep raising the prices on these high end trucks and deleting luxury touches such as lighted sill plates and lighted cup holders in the front console (Such as on my '21 Limited) and now the removal of the tailgate applique. I guess greed and profit has taken over Customer Satisfaction. Wake up Ford!

Ford dealerships and corporate have poor customer service. I can’t do it.

I’m personally not a fan of Bang and Olfhousen sound systems. They are very lacking compared to Bose automotive or even Harmon Kardon.

Get rid of the stupid metal antenna, add digital mirror, add bed liner as standard on this trim level (at least do a drop in liner sheesh). Why did they get rid of the tall screen?? Nobody is talking about that.
