It was a fun build, the yellow really pops on the blue. Plus they are the minion colours. 😃

It is a cool looking plane. Dario mentioned there are Canadian versions, C/F-18's, and I did a search to check them out and found some pretty wild paint schemes.

The builds are pretty easy and the decals can sometimes be a challenge but they are fun to have.

Thanks Benny, it is a quick build since it's moulded in blue, not much to paint.

Looks awesome. I'm particularly impressed with the Future clear coat which seems extra shiny. I assume you airbrushed that but was wondering what (if anything) do you thin it down with.

I don't thin the Future, I spray it or brush it on right out of the bottle.

If I had, or do, jump into the eggplane build, this is the kit I have. I also want to build several other Blue Angels planes. Tell me please, what specific yellow paint did you use to match the decals so well?

It was Craftsmart MultiSurface Premium Satin acrylic in Yellow from Michaels.
