Honesty is the best policy regarding faking the warranty/breakdown, Smokey. I love the Multistrada GT V4S! Dreaming about it now.

I started using the 2024 model. I agree with you on the navigation, small fuel tank volume, and rear brake issues. Also, the phone charging slot on the tank only fits an iPhone 14 Pro Max if it's taken out of its case. Yes, the fuel consumption is high. But when you switch it to sport mode, it's mind-blowing. Still, I like it. I guess it's in my DNA :)

Looking at the design, it's as if they could fit another 2 liters quite easily by making the filler protrusion look less of a protrusion by raising the rest of the tank. Downside... moves cog up... but I mean... it's a tourer.

Just picked up my new Grand Tour 2 weeks ago - riding UK to Romania in June so will get to see how it really performs -on a 'Grand Tour" - - the phone cubby is fine , the issue with Ducati Connect needing to have the phone screen on all the time is an oddity but supposedly being sorted soon - just keep it plugged in all the time if you use the cubby. Rear Brake is ok for me.

Hi Smokey, nice video! You can deactivate radar in the main menue. I know it since it was deactivated when I got my brandnew MS Rally.

A Smokey great vid as always I don’t think you notice that you have an issue with your left thumb constantly pushing something . I have noticed this in other vids but ha we all have issues. Keep up the good work champ 😊 I have a GT with the Akra exhaust system with re map and love it. Cheers for Australia

Im 6'5" the DesertX is awesome for tall rider ❤it Only my Dr800S Big is a little bit better because the foots are a little more forward

You got two Multistradas with matte finish but Ducati clear coat on gloss paint is soft as butter, it get scratches like nothing else. Ducati needs to fix that!

So now that you have tested the RS and GT, Would you pick the Pikes Peak over them?

I love the GT more , easier to ride , doesn't turn as fast as the RS and Pikes Peak because of the bigger front wheel. If you really like sharp corners the RS and Pikes Peak are better but for the long rides I'm going GT 🙂

Worth the 10k price over the F900GSA if not off-roading? Great fun vid as always.

Absolutely , the F900GS review is coming online soon. It's a rally offroad bike, it rides good on the rood but the suspension is to hard , the seat is to small...both great bikes for their own territory 😁

This bike doesn't shut off the rear cylinders, they didn't bring that feature from the Rally to this model.

I have to agree with the rear brake. I have a pikes peak ‘23 and the rear is trash. Honestly love the bike but Ive had inexpensive bikes with much better rears.

What I want is the 17inch wheels and single sided swingarm from the pikes peak, the 2 cylinder shut-off from the rally, and the add-ons from the GT. Pls make it Ducati. :)

Then buy Pikes Peak. What's missing from the GT? I've searched unsuccessfully for what important long-distance riding stuff you can't have on a Pikes Peak and you've got it on a GT.

​@@hewlett62I mentioned fuel economy - the rally has the rear cylinder shut off below 4k which improves fuel economy and range, also keeps the bike cooler at a stop or in slow moving traffic. This feature is also available on the Diavel. I want it on the GT. I also prefer the single sided swing arm (I love the looks and both maintenance and cleaning is easier with a single sided), and I want 17 inch wheel at the front. The GT does not have the range or heat benefits of the rally (or Diavel), has a 19 inch front wheel, and a standard swing arm set up. The pikes peak doesn't have the rear cylinder shut off, it would be perfect for me if it did.
