Ducati Multistrada V4 RS & Multistrada V4S Grand Tour first ride | KNOX
Introducing the latest top flight Ducati Multistrada's, the V4rs and the V4s Grand Tour. Adam Child "Chad" flew out to Italy to sample the goods.
Firstly, the V4RS. A 17" wheeled derivative, with full ohlins suspension and most importantly, the high revving Panigale derived engine found in the streetfighter V4 was tested on track. Then, it was time to sample the new V4s Grand Tour. Essentially, a Multistrada V4s with every bell and whistle fitted as standard with some extra tech included.
More information on both bikes can be found at www.ducati.com/gb/en/.

    Well... I've got multi v4 rally, and streetfighter v4 SP. And both are perfect on their purpose. So the RS is useless to me, as is just a weird combination. The GT is ok, but fuel tank capacity on the rally is unbeatable. Nice video guys!

    This bike makes no sense to me. I own the Multistrada V4S and the Streetfighter V4S and each bike has very specific abilities; when mixed in one bike you end up with a Adventure bike that is not very good at off-roading and the same bike is also not as good on the track, when compared to other offerings by the same company. So at the end, we have a bike that is not the best at anything. Love this channel, Chad is amazing at conveying how a bike feels and performs.

    thats whats sick about it, it makes no sense, it revs to 14k has a real ducati desmo engine, the paintwork is worth it, see 650s review

    It's not an Adventure bike. Clearly a Sport-tourer in the same mold as the BMW R/RS or R/RT series, K1200RS, ST1100, (some) VFR's, KTM 1290 SA-S (the SA-R is set up with the dirt wheel sizes). If sport-touring doesn't make sense, then think of it as a "gran turismo". This is a muscle bike that you can ride in the twisties or aim at a coast and set the cruise somewhere in 3 digits.

    I love my 23’ Pikes Peak MS. It fits my wants for a bike that can distance tour and then really boogie in the curves when I get to where I wanted to go to. However, if I was in the market for a purpose spec and loaded “grand touring” Multistrada, it kinda perplexes me why Ducati didn’t spec the larger “Rally” fuel tank on it?

    Riding the baby Multi V2S Travel I’d go for the V4S GT next time, but if I’d won the lottery I’d have the RS but then do have I the skill set to make the most of its performance🤣. There isn’t a bad Multi says an ex GS fan😉👍

    I live in Italy near Milan and I have owned a Multi V4S Full for about a year and I am really satisfied. However, I would like to switch to a more "sporty" Multistrada because I don't do much road but I like a more agile bike and on both fast and narrow mixed routes. Which do you recommend? Pikes Peak or RS? Thanks so much for the advice. Furthermore, I would like to know from you experts whether the heat released under the rider's saddle has been reduced or not since in the height of the summer season it turns out to be very annoying. Thanks again for the clarification.

    At last we have a special multi with a special engine. Pity Ducati didn't fit the Demo lump in the Pikes Peak a couple of years ago, it should have never been left with the ‘touring’ motor in it.

    Are the standard multistrada v4s really "way moore" sporty than ktm 1290sas?

  • @KnoxArmour

    @KnoxArmour

    6 ай бұрын

    It is a bit more sporty. Definitely the feeling of the front end is much more connected on the V4s. Think Chad may have also said the V4s is faster than a 1290SA... its definitely not, they are quite evenly matched in acceleration. Thanks, Aaron KNOX

    The GT is basically the full sport edition that they only produced for a year but discontinued due to it looking too much of a competitor in looks for the Pikes peak.

    The SAS will actually ride faster than the MS in everyday situation: much more torque and power is available lower in the rev range. MS is actually empty in the middle, you got to push it high to get something. Not great for everyday riding...
