They give it to models that won't get a full m-version I believe. The x1m135i got it and now the x2m135i as well. We will probably also see it on the next 1 and 2 gt m135i.

in a recent bmw seminar they told our salesman that the touchscreen reaction will become way faster and that it was just a production mistake

That’s absolutely bizarre that BMW have got rid of the idrive controller…. Fingers crossed this doesn’t become the norm, I can’t stand using the touch screen

@@tsaki_titan No way!!!! Duh, I was insinuating is that 5.4 for a 300hp BMW is pretty poor compared to a less powerful GTI, especially at the cost of the BMW. 300hp I would expect it to break into the 4 second range.

Who the hell is green lighting these new hideous designs? The XM, the new M3/4, the 7 series. They all like cars carved from a block of wood. The dash display look like a bunch of iPads strung together. And I have two BMW's currently. Touch only controls creates safety issues. And he's right VW got smart and listened to their customers, getting rid of touch only.

I'm going from an m240i convertible manual. I test drove the X2 and really did enjoy it. I ordered one right after. I'm going to strip the badging off though. I think a 4c baby M isn't appropriate. But the car handled great, had plenty of pick up and go and he's right the seats are amazing.

I live in PA USA and I 'ordered' a Vegas Red X2 M35i with every available package and option. A bit over 60K USD and what I thought, given all the hype, was a great deal. Shifted down a notch from my fully-equipped X3 M40i. Ordered early December 2023. No information available on its build and delivery status until early May, when my dealer informed me that the model (?), my configuration (?), any X2 (?), would NOT be provided to customers in the US. No information from BMW area or corporate as to the reason. I checked dealer inventories from Boston to LA and found only a few low-end "lot cars" - mainly non-Ms, two half-equipped Ms. Does anyone know what's going on? A flaw found at the last moment? Baltimore? Robots on strike? Well, if I order another Bimmer. it'll be a 2025 X3 M50, so I can go down to my home state and pick it up. No ocean to cross. Help.

A 540i has 340hp, I do not know which car you have that it does have 300hp. And knowing that a sedan is faster than a cross-over given same weight, because you know aerodynamics, so yeah.

i have an '23 X1... i HATE the touch screen and stupid shelf between front seats... i am getting rid of it, iDrive 8 is garbage.

I must agree, the seats are almost perfect and in general interior quality is superb. Engine is of course far from being superb... pity.

I actually like the design more of this new X2 more TBH, but the rest of the car has so much flaws and glaring faults it is hard to like.

I will like your video because of your benefit, but I do not like this car either. I’d take the first X2 by far. It’s like the first generation of the GLA. They could be identified like BMW and Mercedes, respectively, but the new X2 and the new GLA could be anything.

If someone wants to buy this, just get the RSQ3.

Trying everything they can to make it seem like a M car, exept for all the parts that would make a M car. At least no one would recognise it as a M or even a BMW.

the x2 series and other interior variants lost me so heavily. The whole infotainment interaction system is a step back, and the whole sh*t with the "my modes" makes it a no-go for me. i think bmw wants to drive you into voice command instead of button selection... Gonna order g20 again or c class sedan...

This new X2 looks just like a bad small copy of the X4. It lost that kind of "appeal" (or whatever) that made the X2 somehow interesting.
