2024 BMW F 900 GS Review

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

The updated 2024 BMW F 900 GS adventure bike seeks to reinvigorate BMW’s middleweight platform. Upgraded from the F 850 now with a larger 895cc parallel-Twin that delivers 105 hp, a ready-to-ride low weight of 483 lb, a lower and more svelte profile, and upgraded suspension, the 2024 BMW F 900 GS just might be the best parallel-Twin adventure bike ever offered from the German company.
To see how the 2024 BMW F 900 GS performs, we travel to Málaga, Spain, for a full day of on-road and off-road riding.

Please tell me what is "cheap" in todays world ... maybe Yamaha Tenere T7 for 14kUSD? But the suspension is crap as I had heard on Yamaha.

483 lbs with only 3.8 gallons of fuel? 🤔 My 2023 DesertX with bash plate, crash bars, water pump guard, aux lights, bar bag, heated grips, cockpit accessory bar w/GPS (Garmin/Ducati branded), Termignoni de-cat race exhaust w/EVO tune (120 hp) and 5.5 gallons (steel tank) weighs 488 lbs. There was regular chatter this BMW was going to be significantly lighter then the DesertX, guess that was just wishful thinking.

Too bad your bike doesn't have a kick starter. Real bikes have kick starters. Also, your bike is at least 300 lbs too heavy for offroad use.

@@ts-cj2ym Nope. Ever tip a 500lb bike over offroad? Broken mirrors, gouged engine cases, flattened "accessory bars", broken fog lights, busted blinkers, crushed luggage, ruined wind guards, etc. This is bike is at least 300lbs too heavy. It should be closer to 200lbs...wet.

Bike is too damn heavy, and worse, top heavy. Unloading 31#s is good but not enough. I have an 850 GSA and I fear solo riding offroad because of the weight. It's a great road bike but I'd rather ride a Husqvarna 701 offroad which weighs a lot less.
