2024 Acura TLX Type S - This One Would Be My Choice

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Welcome Everyday Reviewers to our in-depth review of the 2024 Acura TLX Type S, the latest in Acura's lineup of high-performance sedans. In this video, we dive into what makes the TLX Type S a standout in its class.
Under the hood, the TLX Type S packs a punch with its 3.0-liter Turbocharged V6 engine, delivering an impressive 355 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. This power is harnessed through Acura's Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system, ensuring exceptional traction and stability in all conditions. FWD is available in the US but in Canada, only SH-AWD.
One of the standout features of the TLX Type S is its adaptive suspension system, which dynamically adjusts to provide both a smooth ride and sharp handling. Coupled with larger wheels and Brembo brakes, the TLX Type S offers precise control and stopping power, enhancing the driving experience whether you're on winding roads or cruising on the highway.
Inside, the TLX Type S is equipped with a luxurious and tech-forward cabin, featuring premium materials and cutting-edge amenities. The driver-centric cockpit includes Acura's latest infotainment system with a high-resolution display and intuitive controls, keeping you connected and entertained on the go.
But it's on the road where the TLX Type S truly shines. The combination of its powerful engine, responsive handling, and advanced suspension system makes every drive an engaging experience. Whether you're pushing it through corners or enjoying a comfortable cruise, the TLX Type S delivers a blend of performance and refinement that is hard to match.

We're just looking at it and being told about it. Driving it may make an enthusiast not mind the price much. Looking at it, I think driving it is an experience.

@@kawasakiwhiptwo5821well said, I own the 24 TLX type s and when I turn on that surround sound system, and that bass comes on, it really enhances the driving experiences. I own it since April 2025, and I have 7k miles in it so far it’s definitely the experience. The car is very quick but not fast compared to others. Quick speed changes + amazing suspension + quality audio = amazing driving experience. I’ve been producing music for over 15+ years and I say this car has a wonderful sound system.

Great review! That color combo looks beautiful! I wish Acura would create a manual version for the TLX type-S. Ihave a 2010 Acura TL SH-AWD 6 speed manual transmission and I love it!

I remember the Dinan upgrade to your BMW. Finally, someone you can live with the Acura touchpad. And, no mention of the easy to use gear buttons. The steering wheel controls is what most owners use anyways. This car would be much more expensive if it had a German badge on it. Bang for the buck!

The colour options in Canada are lacking. All of the better exterior options ONLY have the red interior and that red was a huge no for me otherwise it was 90% a sale. The other 10% was the infotainment setup. Ended up going M340i and I love it.

@@kenzobankz4490 Fair enough, whatever floats your boat. To me it's a gaudy ugly red, similar to Audi's and Jaguar's. Not appealing in the slightest. If they had offered an option though like every other auto maker, they'd probably sell more cars which they need badly. 40+% decline in sales in the first quarter of 2024 on the TLX alone. It's a gorgeous car, nicest TLX yet without a doubt, but 4 colour options for the Type S with no options for interior customization? Hard No.

I'm in the market for a a new AWD sports sedan that makes it to 60mph in 5 sec...more or less, under 60k. But always seems to be 1 or 2 things wrong in every car I like. The BMW M340i... horrible dash board..hate it, the Lexus IS350.... to slow.... IS500.... no AWD, Infiniti Q50.... outdated exterior and interior, Alpha Romeo Giulia....also needs more horses. This Acura TLX although a bit overpriced....no rear leg room compared to its exterior size , may be the winner.
