I think they should rename it Musicians Hall of Fame so everyone will quit bickering about who is RnR and who is not. And Jann Wenner has some 'splainin' to do when it comes to his "never gonna" mindset to not induct Warren Zevon. He's got this old personal grudge. We tried so hard. But no, Dolly Parton, who tried to eliminate herself saying "But I'm not RnR!", was forced in there instead. I know the silly game. C'mon, Zevon was very influential to RnR and deserved to be included, not snubbed forever. Dolly wanted to bow out but old feuds die hard even when the feudee is dead. Yeah. We need a Musicians HOF STAT. One less thing to be divided over in this world.

As a non musical person I appreciate people's musical abilities.And to get up on a stage and sing dance play an instrument or just talk. You are all brave. Appreciate all of you.

Sad news update, The last original members of group The Spinners has passed away , Henry Fambrough 2/ 7 2024 he was so happy finally to Witness the group that he has been with since it's been established being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame , Condolences to the Family Member's ✝️ your songs your albums your music will be with us forever. ❤

Well, dude. Ya know what?? Every type of musician/type of music ALWAYS learns from all types of musicians and their type of 🎵🎶. They all learn and have a unique form of respect for each other. Grow up!! There are many Christian artists that have a variety of Rick to rap!! And they are fabulous!! Maybe you should check and learn more about your knowledge of music and where it revolved from!! My favorite song in the world is Skynyrd...simple man. And many of the old time r & r. Sorry Bob Seger for his ONLY love seemed like rock and roll!! Sure he's lea learned from sum rappers over the years. Snoop Dog and his inspiration. LL COOL J. And rock & roll wasn't just loud guitars & pounding drums. Heck it wasn't even one style of music, it's about spirit, evolution & attitude which means it includes all genres including rap.

The rap genre has its roots dating back to blues music. The talking blues genre is a precursor to rap music. I often view Chris Bouchillon as the first white rapper.
