My heart was breaking for the Lux. goalie. She had as many saves as goals. She looked so downcast. But she should take credit for a great performance under pressure. I felt for Parris too. The goal was class, and that backheel touch to put her team mate through unmarked was magical. Excellent workrate and hunger. She got unlucky several times. Well done Luxembourg. You never gave up. And played well.

The Luxembourg goalkeeper wasn’t directly at fault for any of the goals, as far as I can remember. In fact she probably kept the score down by a couple of goals.

Serina personally I think it would be better if had Leah Williamson as captain because the lionesses know her better than they know me ,. We also dont have much time until the world cup begins, so I wouldn't want to disjoint the team ,. There were matches like that were womens national teams were playing against like u15(or even lower) men of some random academies(not top clubs) and results were always the same, boys were destroying them, even USA women world champions lost to some Dallas academy boys xd

@@asdzxcz1360 Nice fairy tale. The reason women’s football became banned in the UK was because it became more popular than the mens and the final straw was them beating the England national men’s team and then the FA banned them.

People like to watch new, weird things, that's how circuses were operating, so if it was new it could gather more audience, it doesn't prove to be better... Justin Bieber is more popular than Lionel Richie, but it doesn't mean he's a better singer. Also it was probably tied to results, men were competing with other professionals of established sport, while women were playing against total amateurs because of low interest in the sport, same as now is going on in USA. You had many comparisons of quality of womens and mens football nowadays, and there is insane skill gap.

Commentators need to do one job with a see not pretend this is something it isn’t a skill level. It’s poor to say the least and they’re 100 years off where they should be. I’ve watched most games and I just keep thinking I’ve seen better 12-year-olds on a Sunday with more skill in the whole team put together this is being sold as something it isn’t and I will respect the first player that stops blowing smoke up other peoples arses and actually says what they see which is very poor sports
