2023 Unno Mith (Boös) Race review
Спорт
The most interesting full power emtb of the year, according to us. The Unno Boös Race.
Update! "The BOÖS becomes a MITH"
The Unno Boös has now been renamed to Unno Mith. All bikes currently produced will be sold with the Boös name, but new bikes will be labled Mith due to another company claiming the rights for a very similar name. Read more about it here www.emtbforums.com/ams/the-bo...
The new Unno Ikki is a lightweight version of the Unno Mith. The Ikki and Unno frames have the same geometry figures.

I'm picking mine up tmrw. When they say rotated do they mean the can part got twisted 180 or the whole shock got rotated 180. Is it something one can do at home if the shock comes setup the old way
@denizkosovali4268
Жыл бұрын
@@chickenclips it is already done by Unno. But u can rotate it easy by yourself if not.
I'm concerned if you can reach the low speed rebound dial and is it subject to mud and dirt in winter conditions of its low position 🤔

It was very difficult when I first got the bike. Afterwards Unno decided to rotate the shock a bit. I never saw the bike afterwards, so I don't know how much of an issue that will be.
I keep coming back to your review because I really like this bike...can you please tell me what is the bottom bracket on this bike? Keep up the good work

Judging by the geometry table, the BB isn't that low on this bike. But, when riding 35% sag, or even more, the BB is low. I usually prefer a low BB, but when testing at about 38% sag, it was too low for me. Still, the bike feels fine riding ~30% sag too, so it should be possible finding a good compromise between sag and BB height for most people.

@EMTB Videos Thank you very much, I appreciate it
was the shock rotated 180 degress or was it twisted 180 degrees? I have one and my shock came like yours. I love this bike so much, it RIPS. It feels like a trail bike with loads of travel

Yeah, it's been twisted, not rotated upside down. Afaik, this is done on all bikes after this test.

@@EMTBVideos thanks for the reply. I should just be able to twist mine then

I believe they twisted the can like 120deg. I didn't see it after they did it.
looks cool and all, but you can't say you're looking at keeping prices down while starting out your range with a 10k euro bike(far from disruptive)

Santa Cruz Bullit has the cheaper Fox Performance Elite suspension, mechanical shifting and smaller battery. Specialized Levo Expert has got Performance Elite level suspension, mechanical gears and a smaller battery. Both bikes are listed at €700 more than the Unno. So €10k was cheaper than expected from Unno. I guess that's good, but it's also sad that the price of a great emtb is 10k these days.
Did you prefer bullit or unno boos? Wich is more capable going down and turning into close córners ?

That's a very good question. It's been almost two years since I rode the Bullit, but I've been thinking these are very compareable. About the same angles, wheelbase, reach and chainstays length. I just watched the review we did of the Bullit - kzread.info/dash/bejne/gJeA17CmltSumcY.html - and I'm saying a lot of the same things about both bikes. Chances are I would be happy with both. But the Unno is listed at €700 less with a bigger battery and wireless gears. Bullit is about 1 kg lighter and has a detachable battery, which will be important to some.
Can a push shock fit into that? How's it ride compared to the levo?
Uhh mate. This ebike with Pole Voima and Kellys Theos F 2022 are three best ebikes at the moment. Thank you for the video 🙂

@@pawelodz8050 hola, Pawel. I have a completely custom Rocky Mountain Instinct Powerplay. I love it!
Cool looking bike but it suffers from the same thing most non direct bikes do. It's obscenely expensive. When you can get a Stark Varg for a little bit more you know the bike is grossly overpriced by about double

I guess price differs between countries. In Norway we found it well priced for a Fox Factory bike, compared to the competition.
Yeah no shit it's clean ride it in A muddy trail yeah boy it's CLEAN!!

That's my pain point on these type of frames. Clean, after a muddy trail the mud and the small rocks in it basically eats the frame on the pivot points....

I might be missing the point, but I was talking about the design/looks.
@thesoloenone8245

@@EMTBVideos Yes, you talked about the clean design. I was just grumbling how these type of narrow and integrated designs are a nightmare for rides in muddy/rainy conditions. Which i do a lot. Like stupid charger port placements etc. Thanks for the great review tho' ! :)
