A crazy start (and CRASH) of Camille Servant at the start and an intense battle with Pierre Thevenard all the way to the first climb ! Chased by a group of 4/5 riders, nothing was certain until we crossed the finish line…
A big congratulations to the 800 participants, organizers, volunteers, and spectators ! It was madness !

It could be 5, 20 or even 48 hours to the entrance which can kill you if injuries are serious, or hypothermia cannot be kept at bay. Or you can get flooded and if you are in the wrong place there may not be much that can be done. But it's way less mental than the way these guys ride bikes. Just phenomenal, that air pump of his. That's not just luck, that's pure stubborn headed determination, capability and an iron will to train one's ass to hell and back.

With that in mind, it was fun watching the early downhills. "He's way up ahead of you dude, but it's only two seconds." Four. Six. Hopefully the next up is long...
