The car no regular person will ever get to own
The Toyota dealership near me had the gall to ask $52,000 for a GR Corolla while it sat next to a $58,000 GR Supra.
Its hard to understate the hubris of dealers selling these, nearly $70,000 out the door. They even have the gall to put markup on the 86 when the Subaru dealerships basically never do it.
The greedy dealers have ruined it for us.
it's so frustrating. i built one on the website and it came out to $37k, looked at actual dealer prices and not a single one below $50k
The silence after "it sounds so good"...
Remember to call up your local dealer and verbally harass them about their markups on this car, guys!
Can't wait to buy one of these in 20 years for triple the dealer price.
That romance repo/ heartbreak haulers bit was just as good as the local radio DJ bit in the Lexus video, well played 😂
The repo segment was one of the funniest things you all have ever done
"I'm Toyota and I'm of my meds again-" Fucking gold line there.
Ya know, back in my heyday, the Ford Focus RS was supposed to be the bastion of affordable attainable enthusiast hot hatches. The hype was there, it was all prepped for launch and market domination….
"I tint my plate cover to bamboozle the local constabulary"
not even five minutes in and you are already killing it with the references Mr Regular
The new BRZ/GR86's are plenty practical, just for two people. I've had two mountain bikes on a tow hook mounted carrier, a four person tent on the roof and a weeks worth of food, water and clothes packed into my '22 for camping and it's been rock solid. It wasn't some off road adventure, but I'd like to see a bone stock Corolla try off-roading and get better results.
Moooom, RCR is getting weird again (and I love it).
RCR is the gift that keeps on giving. Something about the already quality content PLUS the new commercial segments. It’s
The romance repo had me weezing. Great job Nick
The Dune references, the repo bit, Greg, and a great review to boot. Thank you guys!
