2023 Toyota Crown Replaces the Avalon as a Lifted, Hybrid Sedan
The Crown nameplate, which has existed in Japan since the 1950s, will now appear in the U.S. on a new hybrid sedan with standard AWD and up to 340 horsepower.

The new #ToyotaCrown arrives for the 2023 model year with two hybrid powertrain options, standard all-wheel drive, lots of modern tech, and an unorthodox lifted-sedan bodystyle.
The base powertrain is a 236-horsepower hybrid setup, while the Platinum trim comes with a 2.4-liter turbocharged inline-four and two electric motors, good for 340 hp.
The Platinum also features an 11-speaker JBL sound system, heated and ventilated leather-trimmed front seats, and a snazzy two-tone paint option.

　2022年7月15日、トヨタは16代目となる新型「クラウン」を世界初公開しました。
　
　初代発売から67年目となる2022年に登場する新型クラウンは、かねてから噂されているSUVを含む4スタイルで構成される「クラウンシリーズ」としてグローバルモデルとなります。
　
　そうしたなかで、第一弾として2022年秋に登場する新型「クラウン クロスオーバー」とはどのようなモデルなのでしょうか。

一方、高い信頼性や耐久性から、タクシー、ハイヤー、教習車[注釈 1]やパトロールカーといった業務用車両や特殊車両として使われることも多い。
歴代クラウンでの販売台数は、8代目が最高である。
トヨタ・コンフォートの姉妹車としてトヨタ・クラウンコンフォート（1995年12月 - 2017年5月）が存在していたほか、クラウンコンフォートの内外装や諸装備を充実させたトヨタ・クラウンセダン（2001年8月 - 2017年6月）というモデルが設定されていた。これらはタクシーなどの営業車、公用車としての耐久性やランニングコストを重視したモデルとして設計されており、「クラウン」の車名を冠してはいるものの、まったくの別系統のモデルであった。
