Won this one in a work raffle on Saturday, it's on sale at $200 US at the local Wal-Mart. So far pretty satisfied with it, but it is my first 4K and Smart TV. One of the biggest immediate downers for me is it isn't a center pedestal base, but the 2 legs, have to find a board to place under it for my stand, currently just using its box for that purpose.

Glad you’re satisfied! Consider buying a universal tv stand that attaches to the vesa mount at the back. It would be another 50 dollars though.

Hisense A6 or Tcl S-series 450g ??? Please help me pick I play games like forza and watch tv I’m big on picture

Hi. I don’t have the Hisense A6 but my understanding is that picture quality is better on the A6. Higher peak brightness and wider color gamut. Hisense also supports VRR on this tv. The S450G doesn’t. Go with the Hisense if you have the budget.

TCL S450G uses a VA panel. It has thin edges but it has a hump in the back containing the inputs and the processing for the tv.

I have a fire tv and the S450G. The fire os is easy to navigate but gets annoying at times. And too bloated with random stuff. Google OS puts everything you want a button press away and links with your Google account. (Fire also links with account)

I don’t have any devices with fire os but I have several devices with Google OS and I like that operating system but like Arcade fires said depends on which OS you prefer. My biased advice is go with the Google OS.
