2023 Suzuki Vstrom 250 SX -Owner's First 250 Kl Ride Review!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Just clocked over the first 250 Kl on the new 2023 Suzuki Vstrom 250 SX and what a delightful and well mannered bike it is to ride indeed. Has a couple of flaws thrown in for good measure but for the price a very hard to beat good value set of wheels.

about 3 years back i thought i'd sell my nd mx5 with 6000 klm on the clock. a big shot called greame or graham phoned and said he wanted to inspect. so about 3 hours later he and his lady friend arrived to look it over. he wasn't too keen as it was an auto but she had the money...lol so he was there just playing the side kick bigshot but really dressed more like a human sponge. so the woman went for a run with me and virtually spilt her life story. husband died a few months back no-one to help on the 5000 acre property and then the walking sponge offered to help her out in all areas....lol she said she never had the cash to buy the mx5 immediately but liked the car regardless. i said don't worry about the car what i'd be concerned about if your toyboy is just around to relieve you of some cash or if possible most of it. she actually agreed and said when the property sells she is calling it quits. he wants to move to the coast with me and buy a convertible as it would be nice to drive and really wants a manual at that. we were gone a good 30 minutes roughly as i asked her will we go back and she said keep driving as she could do with the rest....lol once back home he virtually demanded to know where we were or had been and why it took so long to do the test ride....lol overall a nice woman and probably my age too but im maybe a a$$ hole if excited but that sponge was definately a dead ------ and i told her -get rid of him as he is only chasing an opportunity to score big time $$$ never saw or heard from them again but the very next day a wholesaler rang me and bought for advertised price and sold it for $4000 more...lol actually told me he was a spotter and had some-one lined up no harm done i got back what i paid so every-one is entitled to a slice of the pie ...well all except that other sponge.no telling where he had his fingers.... met another graham/greame as a new bike salesman. he said to me are you sure you can afford it and we were only talking about a classic 500 - that sort of excited me so i said to him what type of car do you drive and he said and pointed out the window to a late model commodore so i replied don't worry about me mate i bet just my watch is worth more than that car of yours...lol which it was as any-one who know rolex knows the president day date version cost well over $10....lol

Warro, glad to hear that Suzuki still coming at the upper end. I agree with you on the 23 Xmax, mine runs smooth as silk at all speeds and responds swiftly to all demands. Looking forward to the Hunter 350 content, and I’ll bet you are too. Regarding the channel, I like your style, real and honest feedback with a bit of dry humor and a touch of sarcasm beats flowery BS all day.

yeah i think your thoughts on how i run the channel are pretty well on target and should be good enough to give them an idea that im not here to take them for a ride and see what i can get but tell it how i see it and try not to make it too boring doing it. i was on the xmax scooter today doing a clip and must admit it was running great too. plus i fitted my touring seat with a bit of trouble and felt the bike ran better over bumps with just that mod alone. also noted too that blue i painted it a couple of weeks back really looks the part and pops too so i'm pretty happy there.

I'm digging that bike mate. The yellow actually has grown on me and the wheel bling actually pops with it. That handguard seems to have saved your clutch lever so that's pretty impressive beings it was just oem plastics. Was that Dr. Who you went to see? Getting mugged by a magpie then running into another Gram all in one day is pretty trippy mate. I'm not allowed out at night either 😅... for real. Puts a dampener on the fun after you drop a new bike that's for sure, unfortunate about the drop, however we move on, though it's not a bad bike to be honest for the price. it's funny cause right from the start you had the ordeal with the wrong color being sent out to you, now the drop, just wasn't meant to be. I recently bought the HONDA CB300R. It was delivered with scratches on the front fork caps, which they are replacing under warranty, so headaches come in all difference flavours. Keep up the videos Warro, I'm not much of a social butterfly, though if you do pass by Sydney airport area ( not sure why since the drivers here are insane ) remind me to buy you a few beers. I've got the 2023 CB300R and the 2022 FORZA 350. Looking to buy one more, but not sure what I want, so I watch your channel to peruse the assortments of bikes that go by your hands.

I can echo your Gearshift Frustration: I have a 2018 Baby Gixxer 250 here in the States. I misjudged where my foot was, and failed to get the kickstand dow. I dropped the Bike on its left side-VERY embarrassing, LOL! Dropping the Bike in my Church parking lot at a DEAD STOP(!) Bent the Gearshift Lever, the Shift Rod, and damaged the Ball type Joint that ties it to the shaft that runs through the Transmission. MY Bike was stuck in Fourth Gear, but I was able to get it home. Our local Dealer came by my house and picked it up. We got the Shift Lever away from the rod, so I can ride the Bike now-But Parts and Labor to Repair this issue-WHICH SHOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED-is costing me a little over $300.00 USD! I got on the Phone WITH Suzuki a few days ago, and gave them what I feel is a LEGITIMATE COMPLAINT in this aspect of their build quality. Otherwise, I like this little 250 very much....

Heaps of Magpies in my area & they're fighting each other at the moment must be over territory. They are smart & walk out with slug gun & shoot one or at one they remember & you only have to point a stick after that & they're out of there.2 Magpies will fight with the local Hawk chasing the Hawk out of their area & big gum tree wouldn't try it on their own though.

I knew a Graham at school & he was older than me & I saw him kicking these girls about 7 in the shins being a bully.I was about 9 & him 11 but he was scrawny & when he saw me he felt stink.I had a paper bike with big solid carrier on front 3/4 full of papers & rode into him knocking him on his arse. The girls went from freaking out to laughing & you could tell he was shamed cause someone saw him being a bully to little girls. He got up & took off & gave me a wide birth after that in future. He went on to become a thief & got caught stealing off his family & neighbours. The 2 things I hate are thief's & bully's & I have a bully complex & stand up to them. Most of the time they don't want to sweat & bleed & drop their nuts.Has gotten me a hiding a couple of times by bigger bully's but I make them earn it & they never hassle me again cause they know it's not easy.I did train in boxing with a big Samoan guy & we would go 8 rounds he would win 5-6 but when I won 3 felt like I'd won he was 20kg heavier than me & known hard man but not a bully.Couple of times I bruised him up & his eye went red & bruised his ribs.Taught me to defend myself & take a hit get in close & we had all the gears & he was a amateur boxer & later did Ninjitsu. Most Bully's don't know how to fight rely on their larger size & throw haymakers & you just keep your hands high & counter punch jab & combo. That was when I was younger & a invalid now.Graham isn't a very common name but have met a few & there was 1 I got to know & was ok like everyone I guess there are good one's.
