Thanks for lookin' in. i'm very passionate about motorcycles and have had these two wheel delights over a period of 50 odd years. Mainly interested in the sealed road rides but lately and it's never too late ventured into the off-road dirt type style of bike.
So why not join me as I try out new clcles and ride the local scenery in the picturesque Cental Tablelands of NSW Australis.
all the best and I do hope to see you on my channel of adventure rides!

G'day Warro... Unfortunately, having tried a 2019 model, I found that the seat height's a bit too tall for my old hips.
check out my next ride. its out later today. short and sweet struck rain. dont ride in rain.first time on a bike in 2 months..lol yeah i see your point there on the height. the 2019 was the start of really good things and the 2022 was the icing on the cake! i think the new model is on the way too ..the nx500 i'd say a hard choice it or the 650 classic. it will give me something to think about there. all the best!
Yah, Warro - the link didn't work for me,, either.
did you try both links.one in description and one at end of clip. again i tried all 3 including the 650 interceptor and they worked fine. i load all clips via a desktop so it may be different via a mobile. i rarely use one of those and have never loaded a clip via my mobike..lol too hard to do and screen too small..lol try this -studio.kzread.infoPLBrauf6VQLrAkONPJnPchJLfynpemNrVr/videos
spoke to daughter link in description doesnt work-video clip both links work. video only 2 minutes long
Wind is never an issue at the speed you are traveling
maybe theres more wind when you ride...lol
The Honda in one of its 500 guises was my preference over any of the 350 variants, but I've noticed that RE are releasing the Guerilla 450. Early videos looks interesting. Have you seen this new iteration of bike using the Sherpa 452cc engine, Warro?
no have not seen that one but i still have the suzuki 250 sx fully ready for dirt running. i may be interested in either the nx500 or classic 650. something which may happen later. either way due to the poor resonse on my clips i think i will decide now what bikes i actually buy....lol plus i still have 5 rides here doing very little. i might just take out out today. eldest daughter bought a heated vest so might try it out all the best
The Gb does sound nice. You picked a cracker of a day for a ride.
I like the the Honda cb500 range of bixe. Unfortunately with only a 29"/736.6mm inside leg the adventure style of bixe are too tall for me. Plenty of classic and custom choices out there for me so not a massive problem.
overall they are a pretty good ride and i believe the new nx500 is even better. not here yet o not 100% sure.
@@ridewithwarro It's gone marmite here in the UK. Some people like it others loathe it. I like them both. I like the playlists yuve set up on here.
@@simonchilli2088 great to hear your enjoying the playlist. all the best!
Hey from Greece 😉 Got the CB125F like yours almost 4 years now,and its great. And now.. hunter enters my mind🤔 The point is that i don't want to have 2 bikes.. All i want the 60-90 km/h easy speed..no more.Just to cruise. And the question is.. cb or hunter?
Nice 👍 well the hunter will very easy outperform the cb125f and so it should for double the hp. if your rides just involved sealed roads go for it. its nice and nible to ride and pretty quick on the pickup too.i have more clips on the hunter too and shortly i plan to put a playlist togther. working on playlists for various bikes now
Having same problem on my 2023/2024 forza 350 Will give it a try to fix that, tnx on video
its a bit of an issues but can be fixed.
This bike sounds as if it’s about to expire. Can you update its issues?
ran great...its all in your mind...lol
@@ridewithwarro mmm it didn’t sound like a fault Big W vacuum cleaner , my hearing not the best I guess.
@@orionswitness i think what you might have heard in this clip i drilled out the secondary hole a tad larger. i thought mabe it could improve mid range performace. not the case and not long after i re-sleeved the hole back to original size
Is your chequebook opening up for the Honda NX500 ?
could be as i have not ruled that idea out. at the moment i am not sure when they are arriving in the landdownunder
@@ridewithwarro supposedly some time later this year but no doubt they will stall until all the CB500x’s have sold!
G'day Warro, your videos should be watched by any who's Think of buying a new or 2nd hand motorcycle 🏍️💨🏍️💨 as l have always found you views as base on useful facts and experience, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.
yeah i'd like to see more traffic to the laylist. well i ask them but the response is usually pretty poor. i know if i could get these playclips up to a better viwing platform i think they would be very helpfull to many all the best!
FYI the link did not work for me
unfortunately i think you have an issue your way. i just tried the link in description plus the two at the end of my clip - and all 3 worked great and i had no issues getting straight into the clips. hope that helps!
@@ridewithwarro I can't access the page, too, Warro. It comes up with "Oops, something went wrong."
@@dashamac #metoo. I think it wants me to get a KZread Studio app to view the link
I was looking at new Forza 350 but thinking the price of this new and extra spent on Luggage carrier would be a better propositionn - and may still come out cheaper and more power...
easily the better bike. i actually owned the forza 350 and xmax 300 -its in my history. forza has good power but shocking ride quality. all you want to know on everything on new bikes ive had 70 of them
@@ridewithwarro thanks for that - I hope all your rides are safe
Great information. You've definitely been around the RE 350 Reborn. Got your's awesome looking too.
thanks and appreciated too.
I’m sorry, what is the purpose of this video?
no traction control on the int 650
Great videos Warro, I have a marsh grey 350 myself and love it! Will probably replace it with a classic 650 if/when they come out as I wouldn't have room for both unfortunately
Sounds great! i too would not rule out a classic 650 providing it runs close it looks to the old school single
Loving the playlist Warro mate.
thanks. heaps of them to come
Yep, certainly looks the part, Warro! 👍
thanks...all the best!
I must apologise, just viewed your shows on the booster Plug. You are already aware. For you info the ECU on hard acceleration or over 3/4 throttle goes to -20% in open loop. Running far leaner than 14.7 stoic. Cheers Brian
thanks for the info
Need to paint that skid plate/bash plate flat black to keep the quasi-military look. Agree Marsh Grey is the best-looking Classic 350. Thanks for assembling the play list. Appreciated.
yeah a good call there on that skid plate colour. black would be the go. all good and enjoy the playlist
Great bike Warro👍
Thanks ✌️
Not my choice of colour but each to is own. I think I might be repeating myself here Warro but the 350 Hunter and the 650 Continental would be my RE choices.😊👍🏍
yeah ive already done the 75 clip playlist for the 650 interceptor so will be working on the hunter 350 soon.
Love RE classic style, but for ME it just lack a bit of power and speed since I live in a place with mostly highways
yeah the interceptor 650 would be more ideal there or even the honda cb500x. next playlist out will feature that bike. i think i have 50 clips on all 4 i had.
Definitely my favourite colour. They really look the part
great to hear. all the best!
It's odd that "grey" is really green, or light-light blue. Love the green but that color is hard to get here in the states. The military tan color (Desert Signals I think?) is pretty easy to find. I ended up going with Halcyon Grey and couldn't be happier with it, very unique around here. I put a black seat on it (Low Ride) in place of the brown stock seat, looks super cool, love it!
yeah they certainly mixed up the designated colour on this bike and what it acrtually really looks like
Warro with a set of nobbies maybe the perfect bike to bug out on when society goes to hell in a hand basket...with this current outage we've got about a week I reckon haha.
maybe your right there... certainly is a lot of bad stuff going worldwide thats for sure.
G'day Warro, been overseas for three weeks and have a few of your videos too watch, my mate has the same 350 and he bought it purely on its looks he said, it makes people look twice when he stops, l have ridden his bike and it's great fun, not fast but fast enough, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.
great to hear you have been on a holiday. thats a good run 3 weeks. dont think you have missed much. weather has been bad my way and its 2 months since i got on a bike...lol all the best!
I'll definitely be watching all of the videos on this bike. Have you seen the new RE Guerrilla yet, either on YT or in the metal?
not yet only just geard about that one. i'll be keen to see a classic 650 when it arrives
@@ridewithwarroa lot of people seem to be waiting for the Classic 650. If it sounds like the Interceptor they can keep it as far as I’m concerned. It seems to me that the motor is half of what makes a Classic. Interceptor is too revvy and high pitched.
Playlist is great idea.Warro's Wisdom Playlists.👍.
yeah i dont think near the end it went to the right playlist. i think it went to the halcyon grey. although in the description its on track so im in for a 50/50 bet...lol
Love that military look & put nobbly's on it have that real 1950's look & great on the dirt too.
yeah i should paint my red/chrome dark green. already have the tyres...lol
This the bike that sold me the Marsh Grey from you! I just loved the way you presented it & it sold me & I bought one! I blame you for my addiction! Cheers Warro!
it could be worse....lol but its a pretty good looking bike and thats what a bit of paint can do. let me now start you on cameras/watches and drones. i may go for a run on one of the bikes over the weekend. scary thoughts there its been 2 months...lol
Thanks mate. I saw one of these in Whangarei (it's a northern NZ town) a couple of weeks ago. It sounded great. Those motors are sweet.
i always thought the stock 350 sounded ok. i only had issues when i started engine mods and same too on the 500. all the best!
Thanks warro🎉
great to hear
Your dog is about the same size as a New York City sewer Rat 🐀
Thanks for the upload Warro. Hope you’re doing better.
All good, better than i was. all the best!
I do like that Halcyon Grey colour bike.
it was ok i must admit. i was think when the weather warms up i could paint my spare tank and guards more like the marsh grey i had a while back. id have to do the sidecovers too but i could do a partial just to see how it looks. might be a spring project as its far too cold to do that sort of thing now
Great bike but not faultless. Riding position not as good as triumph. Standard seat terrible. That said engine sounds amazing and lots of fun to be had buying trinkets and making it your own.
Thanks for sharing. by all means check out my 75 clip playlist on this ride in the description section
Is there much difference between this bike and the cb125f?
kzread.info/dash/bejne/p3WquqyIhrbglqQ.html
I was just looking at a couple of these last weekend when I went to a dealership to get fork oil for my buddy. I thought, "This would be a really good bike for my wife." Which is what I think about just about every smaller bike that I see, and really want for myself! I love the rought terrain footage, Warro. Thank you for the video!
if in position to buy...go for it. the step through design is perfect and your wife will feel more comfortable just on this design alone. plus i bet you'll be riding the bike more than your wife...lol its a fun little bike and absolutely oozes appeal. little bit down on hill pulling power but normal around town rides...great fun. plus you can always do my 13t front sprocket upgrade to combat the hills. this thumbnail clip i had it in some nice off road country and pulled wife and me along. no issues at all. great fun!
I remember watching you enjoy your CT125 back when I was still on a waiting list for mine in late 2020. I really enjoyed watching you just cruise around up in the outback and try different modifications. You really did an excellent job showcasing this bike's strengths and weaknesses.
Glad you enjoyed it! i guess i sort of gave it a pretty good workout on the local tracks...lol had a fair bit of fun on one of these. units
Hi Warro. Had an early CT 90 with the high/low ratio gearbox, use to live out in the scrub on a farm, with big hills. You couldn’t stop the little bugger. As an aside I have not been happy with a knocking sound in the GB and I felt it was getting worse. Pull the throttle over 1/2 and revs over 3,700rpm and it got progressively louder. Like piston slap, but at the wrong end of the revs range to be that. Ran with the Wifi OBD2 scanner and it occurs when goes from closed loop to open loop and changes from O2 sensor to ECU map. Took it back to dealer with read outs, he took it for a ride and said some Honda singles develop that sound. Wrote to Honda Australia complete with Graphs from OBD2. They said to take to dealer. Ordered a booster plug to richer up mixture 6% in open loop (hasn’t arrived yet). In the meantime dealer phoned me and said he had take a new one for a ride and it didn’t do it. Said to bring in. In meantime Honda reps were spoken to by him when they came through. Took bike over Monday, he only started on it today. Turns out it has had a seizure, no probs with warranty, new piston and barrel. He will mic up piston before he installs. I ran that baby in never over 1/2 throttle for the first 1,000ks. Changed oil at 500 and 1,000ks. Then gradually increased speed. I would say it’s a tight piston. My lite aircraft engines are all standard bore, but have 3 sizes pistons depending on tolerances and bore diameter. As I said this shouldn’t happen to Honda. Apparently can happen to any. I raised the subject that even although assembled in Japan, motors may have come from India. Cheers for Now Will keep you in the loop. Brian
@@brianrobertson639 yeah i think your right. indian bikes assembled in japan and motor already assembled prior to being assembled...lol how many klm did you clock prior to this incident. i watch lots of youtube clips on the hiness and dont recall seeing that issue but i once had a new enfield 500 which had a crook sprag clutch from first kickover so anything is possiblr plus there were a few enfields reported in the 500 with piston slap too. i didnt think the booster plug worked on later model bikes say after 2020 as that site told me that it wouldnt help my euro 4 500
@@ridewithwarro almost 7,000 ks but started at about 3,000. If booster plug trips engine light, will delete code with OBD Scanner. Then wire a switch, turn on while engine is going. Usually trips code when engine stopped and large temp difference
@@brianrobertson639yeah i have not been on mine for a while. think it has just 1000 klm on the clock. i put those motoz tyres on and it actually soften up the ride side. not only on this bike but the same effect with the classic 350 too good info to know on the booster plug too
Love the C5. Not a fair comparison with the Interceptor though, unless you just talk about smiles per mile. Both do that.
always good to look back on past bikes.
Some knobby on/off road tires look great on those military style Classic 350's. It also helps them perform when you go off the pavement.
they do. im in the process of putting togther a 50 clip playlist on just this bike. already have the interceptor up. 75 clips in that one
Great video. The Interceptor is a really good machine and I love it that it is still air/oil cooled. Interestingly resale prices for Classic 500's are on the rise here in the UK and a really good low mileage one could cost more than a brand new 'Plastic' 350 REborn. Well, aside from the extra vibration, the 500 is a far better bike than the new 350 in my opinion.
Thanks for the info!
So great seeing this after recently getting this myself following a few months of contemplating.
more clips to come. bike has quite a few extras now
Mate I thought you'd come to NZ because those roads look like State Highway 1 between Whangarei and anywhere north. But I looked again and those roads you are on are waaaaay better!! :)
in that case luck was on my side compared to your area. i think you have much nicer clouds. great place for a camera too. all the best!
Beautiful machine! My small gripe with the blacked out edition is that all the bolts need to be blacked out too. Otherwise it looks like the bike has little metal studs all over it (not a problem if that's your thing!)
this one look alright but i think the pegasus in the 500 took some beating too
@@ridewithwarro part of authentic military look!
@@Grupp87 sure is. all the best!
Good sample of Australian roads there Warro and Bruce Hwy not much better.
some good roads here and plenty of bad ones...lol
Can you please do a playlist on the CB125F? Think I already watched them all, but maybe I missed stuff. Thanks
i plan to look into that side too. playlists on all the bikes
I had the Trail's predcessor the Honda Ag90 back in the 70's. Slow, but put it in low range and it would climb a brick wall, even used it to muster cattle out of rough country. Wish they would bring the Trail 125 into Australia, would be the best Ag and rough country bike ever.
must admit that duel range monster was a hard bike to beat.
Most scooters aren’t going to have good rear suspension, and it’s not the shocks that are the problem. It’s the fact that the engine and transmission are mounted on the swingarm, so it’s a ton of unsprung weight every time you hit a bump that it has to overcome. The Honda Silver Wing got around this by putting the engine separate. Maybe the Yamaha TMax too? If the engine is mounted to the swing arm, then the bigger the engine, the worst the suspension in the rear. There’s no way around it. Well, done on the video and thanks for telling the truth. I do the same thing on my channel and I realize it means I will never be one of the top channels. It’s a small price to pay for my integrity.
sounds good to me. and very helpful to others. all the best!
