Great bike but not faultless. Riding position not as good as triumph. Standard seat terrible. That said engine sounds amazing and lots of fun to be had buying trinkets and making it your own.

I own a 650 Interceptor and a Bullet 500. Love them both. I am a big fan of single cylinder thumpers and that is why I own the Bullet. Regarding the Interceptor, it is the perfect bike for me. I can't fault it in any way. Smooth gear changes, good handling, great brakes, fantastic engine, great torque and great looking bike. I have done 20,000 km and haven't had anything go wrong. I forgot to mention the sweet sound of the twin exhausts. Both bikes are keepers.

must admit lots of stuff you see on youtube in mods is click counting but when i order those spacers for $50 and easy fit and took the bike over a very rough stretch of road.....great results for near zero outlay. so owners on a buget of just want something that works on the cheap...go for it. unlike the expensive engine oil which was just a total waste of cash-time and effort

The Classic 350 hits a sweet spot any future bike will struggle to live up to. People dismiss it because of its top speed, but there's a reason Brit 350 singles were everywhere in the 1950s and 60s - they were easy to live with. The footpegs on the Interceptor got in my way as soon as I tried one. A lot of hope resting on a future Classic 650, we shall see.

that classic 650 side sounds interesting although i think i said once i'd never buy one BUT thinking it over i just might! each time they release new enfields i get notified as ive owned roughly 20 of them. if it happens i'd just have to make sure i keep my 350 red/chrome for the old school looks...lol a month ago i was thinking of buying one of the new colour interceptors but decided to pull out and ordered a watch instead so this 650 classic idea may now be on the cards

The 2019-24 model Speedtwin 900 are 64hp & 80Nm so up from 55hp on 2016-18 model. So a bit more HP & same High Torque of 80Nm. The T100 Bonneville & Scrambler didn't get the 64hp engine untill 2021. Speedtwin 900 has 4pot Brembo up front & same weight as Interceptor but lower center of gravity & alloy wheels & 1clock..T100 is 14kg heavier & only has a 2pot Brembo up front & has spokes & 2 clocks.

Great video. The Interceptor is a really good machine and I love it that it is still air/oil cooled. Interestingly resale prices for Classic 500's are on the rise here in the UK and a really good low mileage one could cost more than a brand new 'Plastic' 350 REborn. Well, aside from the extra vibration, the 500 is a far better bike than the new 350 in my opinion.

That means folks who bought them found them unsat. and turned them back in. They're cheap too always seem to be about $4000.00 US. Not for me That bike would be impractical/dangerous over here.

yeah i see your point there. speed limits are much higher your way and they move along quick. say you were caught riding/driving along here at 90 in a 60mph zone/160 against 100 kph once pulled over your license is taken immediately and you walk from 3 to 6 months. no second chane ...your gone...lol plus the speeding fine. could be well over $2000 and that depend upon if it was a public holiday and if so any offence is usually a double up $$$ fine. so i can live with the classic 350 here which is a very good bike but in your area the int650 would be the far better choice all the best!

What a shame youtube's censoring of expletives is robbing us of a part of you! Oh, and a shame too, that we don't get to see your fuzzy face more often... :) ---------- My current bike is a 2023, single cylinder, Interceptor 325. In other words, it has a misfiring cylinder. Sounds nicely 'put-put-put...' but runs awful, stalls on tickover and has lost power, obviously. Has anybody else come across such symptoms?

my mate said try these Spark Plug Cap - 10mm-12mm - 102 Degree - Terminal Stud - 5k Ohm - Black now hers his reply and he knows heaps Oh yes brother , your in luck . I just had a similar problem with me 650 . Lol ! The spark plug boots are crap ! The cap that goes onto the spark plug that is . They are resister type caps … they have resisters in there to quell electronic noise . And … those resisters in there can and do go bad . Burn out basically from the heat . Hot engine , hot outside , and .. the stock ones have a big rubber thing on them , that seals the spark plug hole so rain don’t get in . But it’s crap and hold the heat in . So .. I would tell him to remove the spark plug caps off of the spark plug wires … just unscrew them. And check the resistance through the stock spark plug cap , it should be 5k ohms . If the resistance is much higher then that .. or there is no continuity through the cap , then it is toast . And I would get some NGK type caps , with 5k ohm resistors . Bad spark plug caps will cause misfires and running on one cylinder, or no cylinders if they are both bad and etc .

Wow, you're good ! Between your mate and you, my issue seems correctly diagnosed, thanks and HURRAH ! The sparkplug cap on my misfiring cylinder 1 (right side), indeed measured just over three times the expected resistance (16k Ω versus just under 5k Ω on the left one). I am so impressed! New sparkplug caps have been ordered (and my fingers crossed that's all there is to fix). I forgot to mention that the right exhaust showed heat discolouration by the catalytic converter and so I fitted Hitchcock's cat-free downpipes (to my already cat-free peashooter style silencers). Then I renewed sparkplugs to iridium ones, emptied and cleaned the fuel tank, ran 30km on fresh clean petrol with injector cleaner added, set the Fuel-X Pro to it's third setting (ie with it off) and then, out of ideas, took my bike to my Royal Enfield dealer, which was no help either. The last thing I did, was to mention my issue here because, well, you never know... ...and whaddaya know: a) you didn't just chose to help a total stranger but then even b) asked another for help on my behalf! THANKS ! I feel rather humbled... :)
