The good: our defense (mostly) is suffocating. Purdue's only points were on fluky plays in the first half, and garbage time in the second half. We also don't make mistakes on offense. The bad: honestly this was a bit of a sloppy game for JJ. Perhaps it was to be expected coming off a bye week with all the noise around the program, but it reminded me more of last year JJ than this year JJ. The run game.. I miss Oluwatimi. I honestly think he was a huge difference maker. Watching Joel break down the OSU game last year, he made key blocks for Edwards' huge runs. The annoying: Not converting that 4th and 1 on our side of the field. Purdue burning Sainristil for that late touchdown to break our streak of allowing 10 points or less 😢

Good thing to get the sloppy game out of the way now and not next week. Thankfully we have a history of turning that around.

THE DEVASTATING: Harbaugh is getting indefinitely suspended within the next three days. Looking like he will get a 15 game suspension, UM vacates 2021 - 2023, and gets a 5 year postseason ban. Almost the death penalty. Wild

Purdue gave us their best shot. They did stuff on defense that they haven't done all year, and we still put up 41 on then.

Turbo Edwards will have over 200 total yards 2 tds and Blake will have 125+ on the ground with 2 tds as well come Saturday.. Mark my words

Good win. Still, it's baffling how much the run blocking has regressed this year. I don't think Michigan has more than 10+ rushes of 20 yards or more from scrimmage this season. I guess the trade off is that JJ and the passing attack have been pretty damn good, even if tonight was a bit of an off night for him with several inaccurate throws to players in good positions and 0 passing TDs

Yea I noticed that too. It is scoring TDs but most of the yards come from JJ and the receivers.
