Can't wait till they release it for the 3L Duramax

I have a 2020 3500AT4 with the derringer and the banks ram air intake, I keep it at level 6 all the time and having the extra power is appreciated. I also am running 35s so there really is a need for the extra power. I’m fixing to order a 24’ and probably just delete it as soon as they can tune the new ecm.

The pedal monster works phenomenal on my 22 HO Ram. They make good stuff.

My biggest issue with the iDash is the small diagnostic print while you scroll through it. I have an old BD tuner in my gasoline truck. It’s a good unit but it also assumes I have 20 year old eyes. I can’t see it using reading glasses. Lol. I wish the Banks had a bigger screen, larger print for older eyes. Maybe send the results to my phone so I can increase font size. Otherwise Banks is obviously best. 👍

Thanks for the video. It was very informative. I plan on keeping my 2020 GMC 3500HD for a long time so I have been debating on putting my L5P on a diet or going in the Banks route. I only have 27k on the truck so it has alot of warranty left so that is holding me back right now. I will make up my mind soon though. Thanks for the video and keep them coming.

Rain man ray you tube just installed some bank’s products on the same vehicle.

I still own my 2006 LBZ SRW 3500 Chevy. Just purchased a 2023 L5P SRW 3500 HD. The throttle pedal on the '23 is dead when starting out vs the '06. 1 week of ownership of the '23 and I installed a Pedal Monster. Defiantly the first mod needed to make the new truck drive like the '06. idash is next.

I was in Kansas today and saw a company that had five dodge Ram 6.7 diesel trucks and called them to FYI the grid heater bolt failure and he said they have thirty of these vehicles. So I told them to go to banks power to improve their fuel efficiency to save money. I do have a pedal monster and idash . Saving up for the intake horn and air box and exhaust system.

I bought mine as soon as I bought my truck and man let me tell you!! One hell of a difference night and day!! Mine has a 10inch lift on 40s and it will spend the tires I drive mine around on level 3 sport 6 bars and man it’s beast as hell.. another exact truck tried racing me and I completely annihilated him I’m sure first thine did was go to banks hahah cheers fellas!

I'm a fan of Banks myself but I do want a 4-5in straight pipe. Will this tuner work if I add a straight pipe? I tow a lot and don't want to run around with a check engine light or have any codes Thanks

What engine do you have. I have the LZ0 and was told the derringer wasn't available yet for that engine

How often do does ur truck need a regen with the Derringer

I also have the Banks in my '21 Duramax and i also keep it in Level 3 with the pedal monster on Track level 1 😳

Any reason for not keeping the 2020? Just curious as I'm in the market for a used duramax and looking to owners for any unforeseen issues ect

I have a 2016 Chevy 2500 4X4LTX duramax ,a Allison transmission. So I'm asking you how can I upgrade my pickup to help me improve my vehicle. I'm a Disabled Veteran and i can't afford very much.

They are the same as stock…

So the pedal monster changes power delivery, but the Derringer actually changes boost pressure etc and makes more HP on dyno???

Correct.. Derringer adds power.. pedal monster removes throttle delay.

Do you need an egt probe for this or does the computer handle all that in these newer ones?

It definitely helps when adding a tune. I noticed quite a bit of difference on a stock tune when adding the intake. The sound alone is worth it

It definitely gives it a little more power. Level 3 was perfect. Towing was much better with pedal monster and derringer.

I’m looking into upgrades on my 23 duramax. Does anyone no what you can and can not do to void the warranty? Not sure what accessories you can put on without voiding it. Thanks.

If you take the derringer off, your warranty will not be voided. The derringer leaves no traces that it was installed.

Duramax is a nice everyday truck and tows ok. The exhaust brake and power is a little lacking for me. I do pull a 20k toy hauler often. As a daily driver the Duramax drives more like a car. The seats are lacking in cushion compared to the ford. Ford for me is a towing machine compared to all other brands. I have had all the latest models. They all have pros and cons.. I have a video comparing the three on my channel..

I had a 23 superduty ordered before I purchased GMC. The GMC KBB was dropping like a rock. I made a deal to get out of it for very minimal loss. The Ford is worth more than I paid in used value. The ford dealer would prefer a Ford also when I Trade for my 23. The Ford for me is a much more comfortable truck. I have owned all three brands. The power is well beyond competition. I think the GMC is winning in exterior looks.

Disagree with the pedal monster. If you floor it off the line, it feels exactly the same as with the stock TPS curve...

It removes the delay. The module is like a capacitor it sends voltage signal faster than stock. You can turn traction control off and floor it stock tires will spin a little. Do the same test on sport 2 the truck will fishtail. Everyone thinks you can floor it and it gives the same result. I have tested these on all trucks. The delay on the Cummins is terrible. You floor it stock and it prob takes 2-3 seconds before it takes off. Module installed is night and day. Most peeps that own these are not spending the money because they don’t work. The peeps that don’t agree and don’t purchase don’t understand the delay. The banks has obd2 so the delay is enabled in reverse for safety..

@Rocky Rohde I've tested it too, as I own both a 2023 2500hd and a pedal monster. To is no difference whatsoever. I was disappointed as soon as I realized how useless the pedal monster is. Exactly the same as PRESSING THE PEDAL MORE.

I LOST 50 IQ TRYING TO WATCH THIS
