Just bought my 2500 2021 Dmax high country yesterday.. traded my 2020 high country 6.2 1500. I'm definitely going Banks power!!!

I have a 2020 denali, his screen looks a lot bigger then mine. Am I missing something? Also, are there any after market dpfs that are still “emission compliant” but allows you to get some more noise out of the exhaust?

@@BA-lt6on I never did install it. It sat in my shop for months. I got too worried about voiding warranty, and I sent it back

I installed mine but honestly i cant feel any difference. Do you have to have the sd card inserted at all times?

So is it worth spending almost 1k on it or save for deleted? 😅

Do they have the “weight reduction” tubes or whatever you would like to call them for the 2020s yet

Have you have any issues with the DPF ? I had a filter replacement at 6000kms and 42000 kms now under warranty. I pull trailers and drive it fast. I don’t have the derringer but I wonder if higher exhaust temps would help

It's not exactly ideal to pull on hot tunes. Egts might be a tad high. Although back in the day this level 6 would've been no more than a tow tune. It might not help your issue. But that trailer might be alittle easier to pull with the extra torque.

Does the derringer and the pedal monster get rid of the Speed Limiter to go above 100 MPH? I just bought a 2023 Sierra 2500HD AT4 and was shocked when I reached the top out at 100. Never had the issue with my old 2020 ram 2500 Big Horn

I just installed the Derringer on my 2021 gmc Denali Duramax. I’m have a bad issue when turned on level 6, the truck is either not making the shift in the transmission or the trans is slipping and it’s bad, the whole truck shakes violently. Have you experienced anything like this? Please let me know!

Also I contacted Banks today and they said there is a TSB out for the 10 speed and it fixes the ruff shift no shift issue?! So I called my local dealer and they said no TSB for that issue. There is one for ruff shifting from the transfer case not being aligned correctly from the factory, but it should be able to be duplicated every time the truck is driven. Not like mine, just every time I turn the power up.

Eddie how can I remove top speed limiter? I hate it kicks on at 99 mph

Stick a suncoast transmission in the Cummins and you will be able to tow an aircraft carrier

I have a 2018 6.7l powerstroke with idash banks derringer. i am a meathead lay person enthusiast and was able to install it in 15 minutes. let her warm up to 160 (spec oil operating temp) and break her in a few thousand miles at level 3. IT WORKS AMAZINGLY . WORTH EVERY penny. best part it. SHES QUIET. EMISSIONS COMPLIANT!

Tell your old man to add the banks cold air intake. Its a little more noisy but he will notice s difference over the stock air box.

Banks gotta work in a ram product mission intact.

Eddie's Life just spoke to Banks and apparently its way to grey of an area for them to gaurantee the product. They just say....your dealer has to prove it was the product that caused the problem. I can imagine the akward stalemate you end up with the dealer if something goes wrong. I dont want to risk it. I cant afford litigation with my dealer over a $400 programmer. Im returning mine. 😂 maybe when i get Eddies Life kinda money i wont be trippin’ hahaha

Doesn't send signal to ecu, over rides/bypasses signal from ecu. That's why if there's any issue, it just runs on stock tune

Nope(as long as you unplug it before you take it in) ....and its California legal where these dudes are. Banks spends the money to do the tests to prove to CA it doesnt affect Nox/Sox etc;

Hi Eddie, I know has nothing to do with your video but can you open and close the siview mirrors and tell me if they are opening and closing in the same time, my 2020 doesn't and dealer already replace the driver side mirror and still one slower than the other and they told me all of them does it, just curious, thanks.

Tell pops to color match those fender flares

I think Eddie definatley misses the Duramax. I had a 2015 Chevy 2500hd LML. Then a 2019 2500 Cummins, traded it for my now 2020 Chevy 2500HD after 6500 miles. Wasn't a fan of the Ram. Without getting into too much detail pound for pound the GM is a better overall truck in my opinion.

@@EddieLife3500 the last straw was when I had to take it in for recalls and the dealer had to change the transmission valve body. When I got it back it shifted worse than before. At that same time I had bad steering knocking that ended up being the drag link which is a part thats back ordered. So I got rid of it before there were any more issues and I was stuck holding the bag.

Ram can't compete - until they get a reliable 10spd transmission, I wouldn't even consider a Ram. They should have never gotten rid of the G56. Biggest mistake they ever made.

So,I found two ways, on the Denali, to tell the difference between the 2500 and 3500SRW. FIrst the GVWR sticker - higher payload and second the rear springs - there’s more and apparently made from USS Missouri clash battleship steel!!! That’s the word on the street anyway!!!

Its 60 hp if you want the 84hp you have to have the banks intake +17 ho and they say the monster exhaust is +17 something like that.

Go look at banks website. The 2020 gets a 20hp bump over the 17-19 with the Derringer.

Derringer is great for gas mileage. Because your truck is in limp mode most of the time !

I have the same truck as your dad. I too want the derringer but I dont want to void my warranty on my 80,000 dollar truck, even if you take it off GM can tell if boost has exceeded factory specs...trust me I work at a GM dealer they will void your warranty....but it is fun to see the potential of this product.
