I Loved The LTZ. It Is One Of My Favorite Trims. The 9200 LBS Towing Capacity Is Not A Max Trailering Package Including 9500 Because That Has The 3.23 Axle Ratio Which Is A Minimum Tow Package Which Is For Fuel Economy.

Agree the LTZ is best value for the money......if your already spending 50-55k on even a mid level truck 3-4k isnt much extra to get features you would rather have than not.....at resale you get it back as well.........always better off getting a base trim of the next level up than loading up a down level trim......

GM is able to sell the trucks cheaper because they absolutely dominate the large SUV market, where they get $20-30k MORE by simply enclosing the rear into an SUV shape. Everything else is the same, but they sell for $70-90,000 and ALL the soccer moms get one. And to their credit, these vehicles hardly depreciate, are super easy to service and last FOREVER. It’s a thumbs up from me 😊❤

Good review. I wish chevy/gmc would have an option for an extended fuel tank capacity. The 24 gallon is just to small. Enjoyed the video.

I have a 2023 chevy silverado ltz white so nice truck I love it

We saw a $69k LTZ Silverado that was more expensive than the $67k Denali Sierra we ended up with so no you can find a Denali for less than an LTZ in some areas and the LTZ lacked many many features of the Denali

Definitely gonna look at the the Silverado bc of it's pricing. This model you're reviewing here as matter of fact.

Something that you should maybe cover is the whine that comes from the 10 speed in these trucks Extremely common and sometimes annoying. Same with the AC compressor being loud and noise coming into the cab.

Very nice features, I’m not a fan of the all the chrome. I just picked up a white RST Model. Love the truck so far.🙌🏻

Have the 5,3 in 2018 Silverado, 60 000miles. Only issue I had were leaking fuel injectors around 50 000 after 3,5 years of ownership. Unfortunately this was not covered by the warranty, set me back about $1000. Other than that, great truck.

As a owner of a 2021 Sierra 5.3 v8 who has had my truck in the shop at 2 different occasions replacing first the left side broken lifters then the right side broken lifters…………wonder if gm has corrected this issue on these new trucks?

They found a couple root causes. The biggest one being the springs in the lifters being out of spec. This was because the original supplier for 2019-20 trucks couldn't supply enough springs, so GM had to get springs from another supplier. The alternate supplier was sending batches of springs that were out of spec. Some 6.2 V8's have oversized lifter bores which can also cause failures.

Awesome video!, I agree the white with the chrome it looks sharp, I traded my Cummings for a AT4 best decision I've ever made.

Looking for the LTZ to replace my 2018 LT, but will wait a bit until the current price bubble bursts...

prices are not going to retreat much at all. You might be able to get one for under $60k from a big volume dealer though.

It is a good looking truck, I prefer less chrome but could save money not having to get the PPF done to protect all the paint on the front of an RST. HMM.

I’m picking up this exact type of truck for my work truck tomorrow. Funny enough, it’ll be an oilfield truck. Lol

Wait, what does the base High Country at $65K have that this doesn’t? I can only really see the brown leather, and the electric side steps… does the High Country come with the 6.2L V8 as standard perhaps?

I just checked, and no, the $65K base High Country doesn’t come with the 6.2, it comes with the 5.3… worse yet, the side steps are a $1.5K option, not included in the $65K, same as the technology package that this has, so apples to apples, it’d be $63K for this LTZ va $66.5K for the High Country. Are there any other differences, or do you really pay $3.5K for the different leather color and High Country badging? (Not counting exterior esthetic differences like bumper being chromed vs painted, because honestly, that’s just a matter of preference IMO, they both look great)

Ordered an LTZ Crew Cab 6.2L Summit White with the Max Towing Package along with towing mirrors. Gets towing up around 13,000 give or take with the options. How long should I expect for it to arrive? Ordered 2 weeks ago.

would not tow 13k with that truck, not even 10k......a 2500 is so much easier if thats what you need to tow regularly

@@kirkdunn1379 you're right, don't plan on it. As with any truck you shouldn't tow at the max rating, especially regularly. This maximum towing here gives me a safer cushion for my travel trailer than my current set up and still provides much better gas mileage and cost than an HD in the long run. Still have been considering a used 2500 or 250 gasser for the sake of availability and extra payload if I were to upgrade and get a heavier travel trailer.

I ordered a LTZ with the 6.2L and I ordered it in July 2022. Received a call from the dealership that it was finally being built and will hopefully be here in February 2023. Insane to me the vehicle shortage.

@@Mjwest23 I was told it could be 8 weeks or 8 months. They had no way of knowing. Plus ordering it with the 6.2L slows things down because they only make so many of each engine size. Entire situation drives me crazy. If you get yours in 12 weeks you should consider yourself darn lucky! I hope you get it that soon. I would just buy one off the lot, but every truck I find is all blacked out. Black rims, black door handles, black grille, black bumpers. I'm not a fan of all the black. Looks beautiful when its clean, but living in Nebraska its hard to keep clean living in a farm community with dirt roads.

64 thousand is not in reason it's just how it is nowadays I figure a lot of them will be leased so the payments are not 1200 a month there will be a lot hooked also when the owners realize that they are in over there heads

Interior is cheap and small coming from a 2015 LTZ. I'm 6'4" 200lbs. Driver seat is laughably uncomfortable. They made the seat cushion at 1/3 the size.... Very disappointed.

They definitely “cheaped” out on the wheels. 14-18 ltz rims are much classier. These look like glorified lt rims.

I agree. The wheels on my 2020 LTZ with Z-71 look way better.

I think it's more of a generational thing. Older guys like chrome today because chrome was popular in 50's, 60's, and 70's when they were young. I don't think you will find the younger generation today as big on Chrome when they get older. That said it's not all about age, I now plenty of young people that like chrome and a lot of old guys that hate it.
