We just bought this exact car for my wife. Summit White Premier Redline. Shopped the Telluride, Palisade, Atlas, Grand Cherokee. Wasn't ready to pay thousands over MSRP for the T&P, the Atlas had no guts, and the GC just too much $$$. The Traverse is the fastest of the ones we drove, has the most room/storage, and had the best ride. I am a Toyota guy usually but none are available and we needed a vehicle now. My vehicle is a 2015 4Runner LTD with 155k miles on its way hopefully to at least 300k. We hope the Traverse follows suit. We like to keep our vehicles as long as they can go.

Bought a new red R/S a couple weeks ago and am thrilled. This is the first time in over 40 years I haven't had a full size SUV. Roomy, comfortable, (I'm 6'1"), solid heavy car feel but effortless to drive. Biggest gripe is the auto shut of at stop lights. I'm going to tape down the damn disable button. 😊

One month ago today! Still my SUV today!

Way better than the acura mdx. Test drove the mdx and they're super sluggish and very underpower. What felt like I was hauling a trailer in the back when I gave it gas in the 2018 mdx. The 2nd gen traverse is the sweet spot for me with interior space and cargo. Love the bodystyle of the 2nd gen traverse, very sporty and sleek and family oriented.

Only if we could have our 2022 Traverse back from major engine repair with 12,000 miles.

Hopefully soon, I buy a used 2023 Traverse.

I like the 2018 traverse 3LT leather body style better. These newer version just have too many zonk here and there that just doesn't make any sense.

It looks like a good car, but how about reliability?

Traverse is a great vehicle. Very smooth unlike other cars. Front seats are extremely comfortable. I like the simple dash layout with physical buttons and gauges. Not sure how long GM will keep it that way. I guess the reliability has improved over the years.

Yep we looked at them all and the Traverse was hands down the best riding while still feeling reasonably athletic for its size. Pretty much exactly what you want in a family hauler.
