Love my new 2024 Macan. Wish it had the Heads up display like my 2018 CX9. Got used to seeing the speed and speed limit and whats around at all times. Macan doesn't alert to oncoming vehicles from the side in back up mode, even though the sensors are there. The side mirrors only alert to traffic coming up beside you. Doesn't recognize vehicles that you're passing. Seems like just a software up date could fix the last two. It's a little under-powered compared my old 70 Chevelle SS 396 and 70 challenger R/T, but you don't have to slow down for corners, so there's that.. If you do need to stop, there's some huge brakes on the Macan. It had some clunks and rattles on a 30 mile trip, only noticed when I turned off the Bose. Was able to fix that by removing golf clubs from the back. Definitely enjoy this car got

Can you zoom in on the sunroof? I just got mine last Wednesday and I didn’t realize until I washed it that the sunroof from the outside was lifted from the sides unevenly and thought that was odd since my 2017 Corollas sunroof is flat all around
My better half owns a 2023 GTI 40th Anniversary with a manual. I'll admit it's properly quick, but it just lacks soul. Also you can't drive the thing in spirited fashion without activating something via the steering wheel controls.
When the spoiler is up it’s deployed, down is retracted.
Just bought a 2024 Mazda CX 30 and I absolutely love it

I prefer the old school more powerful look without the need for the V8. For this old war veteran and his group of overweight fisherman this unit works as it's large enough for us to all pile in, hook up a small trailer and enjoy our yearly trip of which has been happening since '96. Great review because it feels like you're speaking to me, not simply trying to sell me a new vehicle.
Seemed like a lot of lag. My mom’s car doesn’t have any. All cars are 4 cyckendar with turbo now. Kind of lame. But def difference from 4 cycle sets of 2000s
the audio is way too loud
The one thing that keeps me from buying a sportage is the color choices is really poor.

Goldpony I believe you owed the 1.6t Sonata? There are reports claiming the current 2.5 non turbo is quicker 0-60. But your review the performance was adequate. I can not understand why Kia developed the torque rating to only 180 as opposed to 195. To make matters odd the new K4 GT line will have a 190hp turbo which will be quicker than the the standard K5??
Manual Autobahn trim would be sooo nice
My personal opinion is that ambient should be subtle, like ambient music. It's not something you party to. I think Mercedes is going a bit overboard by turning the ambient into a light show. Something I need to be in the mood for, but not every time I get in the car. However, I understand that there are party people. :) To each their own.
Like the two doors better
Just ordered mine. Only problem some of the wheel picks only come with summer tires. So I’ll have to change the tires since I live in the northeast and summer tires won’t cut it in the winter months. Not happy about that.
The Bose sound system is not that great!
A strange thing about my 2024 K5 it doesn’t have an EX emblem on the rear.
I have a 2024 EX which is pretty nice. I would have purchased the GT if it had 4 wheel drive. Too much power going to just the front wheels.

You miss one point, how is the visibly inside? Change another word, whether C pillar would block drivers sign.

Love my mk8 GTI 6MT. It’s a FUN FUN car. A simple tune and it’s a little beast. 6MT needs a short shift kit and new knob, it changes the feel for a few hundred bucks. The Haptic buttons are great and the touch screen is great after a few days of getting use to it. Do you want buttons on your iPhone or Samsung ? People complaining DONT own the car , I can assure you it’s over played by people that don’t own one.
REVIEWERS SHOULD ALL MENTION THAT ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL DOT NOT COME STANDARD! YOU MUST PRUCHASE THE DRIVER ASSIS PROFESSIONAL PACKAGE IN ORDER TO GET IT! OTHERWISE, IT'S PLAIN OLD CRUISE CONTROL--WHICH SUCKS!
sure would be nice to know about EV only modes. I'm told the 2020 had a functional EV mode but the 2021 doesn't? Anyway, not sure why this important detail is left out. thanks!
I have the cx 50 love it, the only thing is sometime it does not wanna start and have get out lock the door then start with the phone app... Unsure of the issue.. i have the preferred.
I got this car a year ago and have not seen its double yet. Pennsylvania Oklahoma Michigan get the Sport edition its awesome and a 1 of a kind. Safety features are unheralded acceleration is good its incredible this car will save your life and you won't understand it , till you own it for a while . I bought this car on a whim out of necessity, its incredible.

I own a 2023 and the infotainment system isn’t that bad after you get use to it. It’s such a small part of the experience to me. Since owning my 2023 gti SE I look forward to driving it each day I do. So I always see these comments from those speaking about the infotainment system and they don’t even own the car. And to the guy with the mini cooper S I laugh-that circle display screen it’s so cute and girly like. I’ll be honest mini cooper S doesn’t compare to gti.

It sucks it's losing the manual, but at least the 2025 will have physical buttons on the steering wheel. That is what kept me from buying it. I bought a MINI Cooper S instead. Sadly it also loses its manual for the 2025 model year.
Physical Buttons are terrible. Haptic is the way to go and I would not want to go back. I own a MK8 GTI. Glad the MK8 R is keeping haptic. If you don’t own one, don’t comment.

On prior years the biggest complaint was the info system, since everything is controled thru that screen. It looks like they didn't correct that issue for 2024. Too bad since that is a deal breaker for many (including me).
