Out of all the videos I have watched, yours is the only one putting a seat in the middle and actually sitting there too, showing the actual seating space, THANK YOU! This is going to be our exact scenario, so its good to see this! Totally agree with the missing materials and tech, but overall, I love this car, and our deciding factor was actually the space of the Traverse, as the others are smaller than the Traverse. Great review!

I got a 23 Traverse, just can't beat the bang for the buck. Very sharp looking vehicle, over 300hp standard, so the car is well powered, even on the base model. Say what you want about bells and whistles you can never replace space in a true family car, what a bargain compared to other offerings. For 30k, you get all this space, power, and styling, can't beat it

So excited for this tour! Currently waiting on our 23MY Traverse we ordered back in June

Just made a road trip with this vehicle as a rental from Illinois to Arizona, 6 travelers with all their belongings. It was a good runner and plenty of room. Anything bigger you would need a Suburban or Expedition Max. This is bigger than a Tahoe or regular Expedition.

My mom had a bench in 22 Traverse and I had two rear facing seats and was very comfortable between the two of them! Most likely getting the Traverse for myself as well!

The red is gorgeous. I had a red Tahoe that I absolutely adored. So pretty

I traded in my Traverse in May and ended up getting a Highlander. I love Toyota, but I do miss all that space! I didn’t even have 30k miles on my Traverse and it started not recognizing that it was in park. I couldn’t shut off the car because it thought it was still in drive. Overall I’m happy with the Highlander (only 2 kids in car seats), but I’d love something bigger for my next car!

Chevy I REALLY hope you guys listen to what was said regarding features and materials inside the car especially at this price point. I'm in the market for a new car. I live the space in the traverse but with the other competition offering more for the same price point or less it's a pass on the traverse for me. I hope to see more features suggested by Kelly soon.

Yeah, the door panels on the top are hard touch plastic. Same with the top of the dash. Pretty surprising for the price.

Update: We ended up getting the Kia Carnival! Got all the tech upgrades and more Space for abt the same price! Great vehicle.

You can also open the trunk by using motion on the left side

No mention of the very crappy way they implemented sunroof covering, our 18 Traverse had the latch fail in the second row and was told it's a very common issue.

I really need to know if the headrest come off in the 2nd row for ff carseat install

My first choice was a Telluride but I’m strongly looking into a Traverse

Please, please do a Durango review! I love Ours but it’s a 2017 and we are adding another babe to the family making it 4, I really want to see the newest Durango features!

I was just about to mention this. I been wanting her to do a Durango. I been debating my next vehicle. My wife she drives a Chrysler Pacifica. It’s an awesome minivan. I want a full size SUV with towing capability and to drive my big family around.

Hey there. I was wondering what kinda car seat you used in the sliding captain seat? I’m trying to figure out my situation with my soon to be 3 kids. And I thought with infant car seats you needed the seat belt to install 🥴 wide awake still worried about this. We just bought this car today so I’ve got a lot on my mind

Thank you for mentioning the lack of head restraints in the center seats. I believe GM is the only manufacturer to still do that, which in a family vehicle is unforgivable. Yet it is never mentioned in reviews or safety ratings.

It's good for people looking to rent a large vehicle..but man, but its hard to deny the space it offers a family.

So compared to your personal expedition, what makes you like that vehicle more than the Traverse?

Why are lower anchors so hard to come by? And why are tethers not on every seat. I just don’t understand. Can you please colab with car manufactures I’m the future?

This thing is a refresh and the 2.7 turbo from the new Silverado away from being a segment leader.

Traverse transaction price is close to $40,000. Pallisade and Telluride sell for much more.

I got a 2022 Toyota Highlander for $36k! (Standard black interior was a must). Chevy you had to go up to an LT trim level

This version is bland surprisingly for being a High Country. I'd suggest the Buick Enclave and get the same sized platform and a better looking interior and exterior. I have four kids and for 6 of us and our gear for trips to Hershey park we fit comfortably and average 21-24 mpg. We also have a Ford Expedition and there is more useful space in the Enclave. If you get a certified used one with low miles you'll get a better warranty then new and you'll save about $20+k. Thanks for a realistic review for similar people like you and my wife ✌🏽❤️

What’s the due date for baby #3?!?

I can't believe GM has the audacity to charge this price for something that hasn't been updated for half a decade at least, everything screams rental car, functional but cheap materials. This needs to go with heavy discounts or they will not sell.

Can get a premier redline immediately for 48k with incentives/discounts. The 23 telluride costs $53k msrp for similar features, almost a year wait, and their tow package is recalled so you can't even get it. Is the traverse a reliable car though?

I have a 2019 traverse 3lt premium (just paid 27k with 62k miles CPO), we love it but would take a telluride if buying new. The traverse does have more space but the telluride is much more premium. Test drive both. At the end of the day 48k and 53k is still a lot of money I think your getting more than 10% more features in telluride vs the 10% increased cost. Don't forget the telluride also comes with a 10 year 100k warranty on the power train which sells it for me.

@@allblackls I had an order for the new telluride, it would be my ideal choice, but since you can't even get one and the tow package is not available, it's not on the table anymore. Also, traverse has car seat tilt and wireless car play, surprisingly kia doesn't have the those. I could careless about things like heads up display and vent seats if that's what's more premium. The driving assists might better on the telluride as well, but again if it's not full autopilot, I wouldn't be using it anyway. Seems like the traverse is a better value to Kia for the time being.

@@mattnorman5241 nah, it's the perfect size. MIL has telluride, the marginal amount more space in the traverse makes a big difference with a double stroller. Going to keep the car for 5 years and than trade it in on an Acura MDX once the kids get out of car seats. I'm 6'5" and no other 3 row has enough room for 3 car seats in both rows plus room for me in the front and room behind the third row. Drove them all, from cx9,pilot , Highlander, telluride, atlas even carnival and sienna. The only car that came close was atlas, but I'm happy with the traverse. The fold forward second row in the traverse is a huge feature overlooked alot. You can tilt it forward with a car seat and get in 3rd row. It's definitely not a Toyota quality wise (i have a Highlander, use it to commute 311k miles on it runs great) but the cars going to see maybe 5k miles a year, we will put maybe 30k miles on it in 5 years I think it will be fine with 95k miles

Oof $55,000. I'd pay $12,000 brand new but the engine and trans seems like a bad value. Most ppl will opt for the Ford police car

55?!!!!! Really love that car but with this price point it takes you away to others. Question is What technology changed in that car since 2018 ?! That deserve 55k. Again I love that car a lot and really fun to drive and yes it is one of the best of the best deriving experience in all midsize SUV but couldn't resist the competitors

It makes more sense in the lower trims. The higher trims are just not good values...but if you need the space, you need the space. I agree it's the nicest to drive out of any of them.

The high country is quite silly. However, 1 step down to the premier redline, it has all the same features really, and subjectively looks better than all the competition exterior wise, and goes for just under 50k with incentives.

I will disagree with your, unfortunately Hyundai and Kia come with anemic engines, which is a big part of the expense of the vehicle! Chevy makes the much better engine!

I enjoy her videos, but she's incredibly biased. I've seen her bash one car for the same cup holders she praises another for. She deliberately overlooks crappy design, cheap looking finishes and inadequate space for the vehicles she favors.

Teen driver alert.. you learn how to drive in your teens. I did donuts, jumped highways etc. lets teens be teens
