@@SuperQueenV. I got the buddy 50 end of last june ..orange( tangerine) ..not only cool color..I'm Easley seen by other drivers..practily glows at night under lights! If you get one ..make Shure speed restrictor ring is REMOVED !...(easy to do ) get the scooter works..NON catolitic exhaust.$130 & .gain +5mph top end ..better axeration ..engine will run cooler .. which is better for the engine and extends engine life 👍... Then install a primo windshield... Less wind resistance you'll gain 5 mph top end also.. so with both of these you'll gain 10 mph top end which is an actual 40 miles an hour on level ground via GPS readings..(speedometers always read 5 mph faster than your actual going) 45 mph on speedo ... It also keeps the wind bugs acorns off of you and if caught in the rain you can duck behind the windscreen.. plus it keeps you warmer when those temperatures start dropping keeps the air off of you good luck

Wife has a PGO Big Max 50. It's the Canadian version of the rough house 50. What a beast! In a year have had zero problems, haven't had to change out the spark plug, runs clean and fast! I'm 250 pounds and it hauls me all day long at 70km/h. Run premium gas, Castrol injector oil, and that's it! Simply twist and go. With the wife working from home since the pandemic, I find me riding the scooter to work all the time. It's so easy to ride, and fun, that I choose it for city riding over my Kawasaki Concours. I'd highly recommend a Buddy scooter to anyone. Great little machines.

It’s crazy how “free” a scooter makes you feel. I definitely turn the key on a scooter more often then I do on my vmax

I’ve personally on 250 motorcycles and I picked up a genuine buddy 125 for a great price with 3000 miles on it and let me tell you I probably prefer it over any bike I’ve ever had and trust me that says a lot James in Cleveland Ohio
Where can i buy coverset ?
I have a 2006 Genuine Buddy I bought new, it now has 35,600 miles on it . If you service it . I guess it’ll go ?? Miles
I installed the prima windscreen/windshield on my buddy 50 not only does it keep the wind off of me and bugs off of me I gained 5 mph on the top end.. aerodynamics.. I then installed a scooterworks NON catalytic exhaust system... Not only does it sound cool I gained 5 mph more on my top end! ( I did not rejet the carb) gained 10 mph total on top end...

@@SiegfriedsMotorwerx I've got to visit you guys next time I get down there and your neck of the woods in PA.. up until the pandemic hit we used to go down to Lancaster at least once a year usually around Thanksgiving..& before the holidays... Miller's smorgasbord ❤️🤣.. rainbow dinner theater..❤️... Shopping the outlets.... We used to always stay in the steamboat inn Lancaster.... Well if I get down your way ..I will stop by and check out your scooters

Excellent review. 1st time Scooter buyer here. Would you recommend the 2-cycle Genuine RoughHouse Sport or the Lance 4-Stroke SOHO (made by SYM). I know you probably don’t sell the Lance, but you probably have an honest opinion. I have studied all models, and those two are the best for the Cost! Thanks.

Definitely the roughhouse. Even taking the brand out of it. A 2 stroke 49cc will outperform the 4 stroke in literally every way possible. The roughhouse has the minarelli 2t motor in it, it’s without question the best 49cc motor ever made

I don't know the horsepower but two-stroke is much better than four stroke especially when you install a scooterworks..non catolitic.. exhaust system.. along with a primo windshield which reduces wind resistance you can do a honest 40 mph via GPS on level ground..(45 mph on the speedometer) this was without any carburetor rejet .. or varator.work ..
just got one but I'm little disappointed because the front suspension is really hard when you drive just a little bump and you can fell it in the front

Is the rattler similar to the roughhouse?

The original rattler was a 110cc 2 stroke. Now the rattler is the exact same as the roughhouse. Just with fancier options then the sport model, and a special gloss paint job

You forgot to mention that anyoone with large feet is going to have and EXTREMELY hard time finding a comfortable place to put them on the Buddy. It's the reason I returned mine and got the Brio instead.

@@beanwithbacon the brio is in no way a comparable scooter to the buddy. The brio is a far inferior machine

@@SiegfriedsMotorwerx Having owned both the Brio is a far more comfortable and way more maneuvarable ride than the Buddy and my size 13 feet are able to actually sit flat on the Brio, there's literally zero way for me to sit on a Buddy without causing sever pain in my feet after 10 minutes or so. The Brio fits a much larger range of riders far better than the Buddy and the digital dash is a wonderful bonus.

I won’t argue the buddies floor board is to small, but the buddy is going to last longer and perform significantly better then the brio. The brio is a top shelf Chinese scooter
