This is an amazing car! Love the big theater screen for the rear passengers. I wish that bmw put a digital rear view mirror camera though…

The BMW i7 EV has a even quieter cabin and has better handling.. more fun to drive !

The other two exhaust pipes are routed underneath towards the ground. I am guessing this was done for increased quietness.

It's clearly the best 7-Series and the biggest step up since the E32 7-Series, but why that front end? If you like the looks it's a stunning car inside and out. The interior have moved so far from the previous version you likely won't even remember the old car. I just can't get with that front end. Surprisingly the new front end design works better on the X7 than it does here. The 7 is not related to any Rolls model.

I recall the Rolls Royce describes their architecture (across all models) as a space frame and dedicated solely to Rolls Royce vehicles. The road isolation appears very strong and all the shut lines appear very tight and properly aligned across the openings.

Excellent review as always, though I have an irrational hatred towards this car for some reason.

All that tech inside will be a nightmare for any mechanic to fix. Like most 7 series, I suspect this car will go through at least 4-6 owners in its lifetime before it heads to the scrap yard. Just because of the amount of repairs it's going to need, which will drive future owners to sell them, rather than fix them. In the end the price of this vehicle will be outpaced by its repair costs.

Crazy how huge that 7 series is and it's better mpg than my 06 Corolla 😂😂 it also makes my LS look tiny. Incredible how good mpg it gets

Aggressively day trading to buy this car outright. I used to want a 2021 M550i but this is just something special 😩

The Mercedes S-Class interior technology overpowers the interior IMO. Mercedes placed the technology so aggressively in the car making ut the strongest first impression. Surprising BMW put a massive amount of effort into numerous small details and a cohesive materials strategy which is the first impression one gets. The same level of tech as Mercedes is present but BMW seems to have integrated it into the cabin in a more cohesive manner. Time will tell but the Mercedes aesthetic (wonderful) seems to play to an older customer base where the BMW is more edgy (no pun intended) and not traditionally beautiful.

Nope. Everyone has raved about the luxury and tech in the 7. MB still has iPads on the back of the seats.

This new 7 Series is gonna be my dream car.

Interesting technology, ugly front end, reminds me of a 2015 jeep cherokee.

1:05 bmw lost their identity in terms of design... they look like outdated chinese trumpchi or honchi. since Domagoj Dukec took head of design... its enought to look at his portfolio before.. oh wait ..there isnt any...
