🎉 congratulations bro🎉
7 intriguing biking prospects. Thank you MotoChatter for this well produced and informative video. Happy riding all.
Well you really are spoilt for choice here, all these bikes are great and I think any of them would be super fun, but for me I think it's between the triumph or the aprilia , brilliant video motochatter, looking forward to the next one.
Thanks MotoChatter. Wishing everyone a happy and safe year ahead of biking 💖.
This year was time to change my bike which I do every two years, my last two bikes were Triumph Street Triple RSs, so I thought maybe a change of make was due, I road tested all the bikes covered with the exception of the Aprilia's as IMO they don't belong in this class also the only monster available was the SP which I found too tall but I also was able to ride the Triumph Moto 2 as one of the mechanics at my Triumph dealership had bought one and kindly let me spend an hour on it, first off was the Kawasaki Z900RS, which is a lovely bike, so smooth and really comfortable but it's weight and high seat height ruled it out for me, (being a short 5"6" with just a 29" in seam) on paper the Z900 isn't the tallest at 820mm but it's much broader than the rest making the stretch harder, the KTM890R is probably the most fun or close to it and I know looks are subjective but I just really dislike its in your face looks and reliability is also suspect, I got just 40 minutes on the MV Brutale which IMO is a work of art and on A roads and back roads it handles like a race bike but in town the fueling is quite jerky, so it came down to the MT-09SP or the new Street Triple RS, both are brilliant with a soundtrack to match and if it had been the 2022 RS V the MT it would've been a toss up but I could'nt believe how much better Triumph have improved what was already a great bike, the handling is sharper but still planted and the shorter gearing has really boosted low and mid range acceleration and the new top of the range brakes (Brembo Stylemas) have to be experienced to be believed, all in all a tremendous bike which has raised the middleweight bar once again and the cosmic yellow colour I chose is the cherry on the cake for me but I did opt for the 28mm lower seat to counteract the rise in seat height. incidentally the Moto 2 was much the same as the RS but just a much more extreme riding position.
i went with the z900. i love the seating position and feel of it. its smooth as butter, and with a few mods (like most bikes) you can open up the potential. it was between that and the mt09, and after getting some seat time on each i knew what one worked for me.

Great compilation
thanks for the video
Have a '22 Z900. Rode a lot of the others. Love the smooth, torquey 4 banger. Don't need all the gizmos. Excellent machine.
I would take the Z900 in black.
Just got Ducati Monster engine raw feel is amazing
Well, it's a good time to be riding! The quality, the ride dynamics, the safety margins- its a good time for all.
Thanks for this great informative video MotoChatter I have in order for me the winner of this contest its the street triple Moto 2 edition 2023, cant wait for it to arrive here at my country I know is going to be a blast.

Hi Carlos Sambolin, you are welcome, thanks for your comment, glad you liked the video and congratulations on your new bike, I am sure you will have a lot of fun with it. I was at the Triumph factory in the UK a few weeks ago and they have one in the entrance lobby, it looked awesome, all the best.
Here in the U.S. what is your dream stable. I feel that I have mine, a 2022 Heritage classic, 2018 Iron 1200, 2021 MT07,a 2015 Yamaha XT 250, with a 1972/65 Triumph T120R hard tail chopper. I think I would love a ZX600R.
Suzuki GSX-S1000 is in this price range. $11,299 USD
I have the Triumph and had a Brutale 800RR, if I could do it all over again I would pop the coin for the Brutale 800RR. It's so much more than a pretty face.

Why does the brutale get shit on so much on reviews ?

@@er98ah I can't answer that, but do the people who review it also own it? Riding a bike over a weekend or a 1000 miles or so is limited and doesn't IMO make them an authority.
Street Triple 765 RS - have ordered one...
For me Triumph any day ❣️
The triumph and kawasaki would be my choices forsure
I would go with Triumph its a proven engine and probably has the best dealer back up in the UK 😊😊

Honest question because I'm American and know the Yamahas and have no history with Triumphs other than reputation. How's reliability? Seems like the Yamaha would be hard to beat for total cost of ownership.
Brutale 800RR would be my first choice, my second would be the street triple moto 2 but since they always get sold out I'd go for the RS, after that it would probably be the mt09 since I love the sounds all these triples make.

F yeah, Brutales are sick
I would like to see Triumph increase the 765 by 100 cc or a bit more. An 875cc might produce 146 hp. On a 400 pound motorcycle that would be interesting!
Z900 ❤❤❤❤
Tuono 660 is the best bike on this list, its not close.
I'm amazed that Honda haven't entered into the Super Naked Market, I know they've got the CB1000r, nice bike that it is, but its gonna compete with today Super Naked Bike's.

Imo despite being the weakest, I'd still call it a hypernaked. 143 horsepower is only 7 behind the suzuki and about 20 from yahmaha. And if you ask me, it's the best-looking bike of them all, I couldn't imagine and never will need that much power

@@county_bear9509 so mainly that BMW and Honda cost a lot of money compared to what is presented here. And the quality is better!
The Honda CB500F is too small to be considered a middleweight?

People buy into the “SP” more than needed. It has a better suspension setup, but unlike every other manufacturer, it produces the same exact output. You’d be hard pressed to get any performance edge between the standard, which is on the list, and the SP. Unless a different paint scheme, bare swingarm and a gold suspension does it for you. Ridden both and ended up with the 890R.

For me it was down to the Street Triple RS or MT-09 SP. But, at least here in Sweden, the SP just got ridiculously expensive, and as i don't likegetting ripped off, i went with the Triumph. Also, i was very impressed with its suspension, very good at dealing with potholes, while at the same time firm and responsive.
Probably not a top 7 bike but you can get the gsxs if you want a 4cyl as well and it is CHEAP.

i dont compare numbers, i go for looks, engine type/design, an ride the top 3 based on that. no V-twin. (ik calm down sue me but NO for me). Riding them will always make ur choice. you may choose the most hp one, an not like it. spec sheet warriors go out an buy it w/out trying some others r making big mistake imo. go R I D E them.
The triumph is so ugly, probably a fantastic bike but the front is utterly hideous!! Monster SP is my first choice followed by the Duke 890 R, easily the best two in this class in my opinion!!
left out Suzuki.. GSX-S1000
