The absolute best tip I can give for back to school supplies is this. After school starts and all the stuff goes on clearance buy all you can afford. It doesn't go bad and if you have littles you are going to need it for years to come. Also, shop sales. Even if it's the week before, wait. So much of it goes on sale. The first week they really aren't going to need much. So waiting is your friend. No tip for clothes, mine wear uniforms, boring 😂

I went to a back to school event. They gave out for back packs, some school supplies, they had 20 vendors, gave out free food to families and gave out free haircuts. I got some school supplies there but I still have a long list. Every grade is different and supplies list gets longer and longer.

Hi there Marie. I started getting clothes for my son. He is so skinny it's hard to find the right size. He is all legs. I ordered tops the colors are so nice. He grew out of 10-12. Then just put in another order shoes and socks. More pants . I know what you mean about saving money. My son's back-pack is still good. Still looks brand new. I love to shop the school supplies when they go on sale after school starts! Our school pretty much keeps the same supply lists every year so I just look at the next grade and keep an eye out for sales and then hide them at the top of a closet until the next year!

Ugh summer is flying right by! We don’t go back until the first week in September here in jersey , but like you with 4 kids have to get it done early! I do the same with the backpacks , if they are in good shape I let them get at least 2 years out of them! School shopping for 4 is so overwhelming 😅 Great video as always Marie, thanks for sharing! Good morning Marie! Girl you found some cut clothes at Ross! I’m sending the twins to VPK and I have to get them some clothes. The bigger kids wear uniforms (thank the Lord). I try to buy the necessary items I know they will need for school in the beyond summer. Like I buy pencils, folders, composition books, notebooks, pencil pouches and so on. Try to save as much as possible.

Pat Pat has cute clothes. I told my daughter-in-law about them. Check out Jansport backpacks for the littles. They'll last them a long time. My mom got me one for my freshman year, and it lasted me all 4 years of high school. I still have it.

Single mom of 4 here.. Walmarts prices for back to school are sometimes cheaper. Those composition books are only .50, the plastic folders are like .25 . Definitely compare prices at both stores next year.

Yes, also a lot of stores will have sales closer to school start dates for their area. Waiting definitely helps. I shop clearance afterward too. I live in an extremely poor area and they don't require kids to bring anything. I still buy mine a few little extras, but not too much. I don't want other kids that can't afford supplies to feel ashamed or sad. But, I try to help with class supplies for all kids.

Your house is so beautiful. Every time you decorate it is so pretty you have good taste and decorations, LOL. It's hard being to stay at home mom because I want decorate my house, but no funds, LOL.

In our city in Indiana, all school lunch and book fees are free! My only daughter is in 6th grade and doesn’t need many supplies now. She has expensive taste though wanting all name brand clothes 😅. She had to have converse high tops this year.

I remember when converse were $29.99. I feel really old seeing prices for them 😂 Ross, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Burlington, will all be your best friends. Even Goodwill has tons of name brand clothes. My little mostly wears Jordan/Nike. I shop at Goodwill, a local consignment store, Ross and so on. 😉 It doesn't have to break the bank to make the kids feel special with their name brands.

The clovers are basically weeds. They just grow from the dirt. I'd pull them out.

Hi Marie. You always choose the cutest clothes for your kids. All the outfits are adorable. I sometimes miss going to buy all the school supplies for my son, but then I get past that quickly. Lol. Love all the little decor changes.

You might consider writing their names in their shoes. I say shoes because when they are at PE they might have to take them off for an activity.

It’s so hot, my kids take the bus, but i still have to drive them to the bus stop because it’s half a mile away down our street and it’s way too hot to walk. I do like that they’re in school rather than being stuck inside at home bored, but I do feel for those who have to walk, that is just too hot 🥵

As far as I know all the schools out this way start in August. Most of the kids where I live walk and the school is almost a mile away. I couldn't imagine. But, I totally get wanting them to go back to school 😂 My ac isn't working so my kids are in Apache Junction with their brother. 117° expected today. Good times. Stay cool!

I use shout. I spray it on, rub it in, let it sit for 5 minutes, then throw it in the washer.
