As a teacher, let me say that all teachers appreciate any kindness! Teachers pour their hearts and souls into little ones each and every day. We love them like they are our own kids. It's always so nice to know that what I do matters to families. *I would eat anything you made for me!

on Sundays my son misses his teacher so much he tells me let's go to her house and even cries that he wants to go to school. he's in kindergarten...it's because his teacher is so loving kids miss them even on Sundays 😂

As a former teacher; we love and appreciate gifts! I used to work with at-risk children and some of our students were very trying. One year a mom of one of those students brought in a ballon for my co-teachers and me to share. We could’ve cried over that after a very difficult year. Teachers appreciate the thought and their hard work being appreciated.

I always loved making teacher gifts when my kids were little, even when they were in junior high and high school, as all teachers need a reward! Love what you put together! Also love the school supply organization! I too love Crayola crayons and get so happy at back to school time when you can get them cheaper! We now buy them for the operation shoeboxes!

Plants are an awesome gift. I have plants from past students that have grown so much and I think of those kiddos every time I look at the plant.

"For, what's her name...Eleanor". Having a large family, literally LOLing over that. Yep. I once called our oldest son 4 of his sibling's names and even the dog's name before I got the right name. He was more offended being called his sister's name than the dog's.

Who are the people who didn’t like this video. I don’t understand. Kim is amazing. Even if you are not a mom and her content is not for you her friendly positive demeanor and that she loves to laugh should at least bring a smile.

Thanks for spoiling your kids teachers. That super kind of you! I teach middle school, gifts are rare, but always appreciated!

My daughter is in her 20’s and we’ve never done a teachers gift. I think it’s a lovely idea, teachers spend so much time with our kids, some days it can’t be easy. It’s a nice way to show your appreciation to that teacher!

I love how much you appreciate your teachers! I'm a teacher at primary school in Germany and sometimes parents can be very critical. So it is really nice when we get a chocolate bar or something like that for special occasions! We feel appreciated not only by the children (who draw us pictures and give us hugs all the time), but also by the parents. Sometimes it is nice to know that people like what you're doing

@@thewadsquad thank you, that’s so nice of you to say! The hardest thing about it is actually the procedure it takes to become a „real“ teacher. I’m still a student teacher and it’s really stressful, but it’s gonna be worth it in the end! I love the kids so much and I love seeing them grow up!

Great teacher gifts. Two ideas-use your cricket to put a message or teacher name on the pot. Maybe your local flower/grocery store will give you three of the plastic card holders that they put in plants-you can put the card in them. Or, the third idea is just do what you are already doing as it’s great 🤗

Aloha I had to pause the video when you talked about the teacher's gifts. I myself am a teacher. I personally love homemade gifts, however, I am on a very strikes diet so most food-type gifts go to my family. One of my students last year got me a candle with a handwritten card telling me to also take care of myself and just got to say: LOVE! I believe big, small, lots, or no gift is okay with me. The highlight of our day is seeing our students happy.

This teacher thinks it is incredibly kind that you show such great appreciation.

I always did teacher gifts in elementary school, a storage container with extra supplies and a local office supply school store. End of year flowers with a target gift card, I was known for fudge at Christmas and oversized muffins individually wrapped and then decorated like turkeys at Thanksgiving. Then in middle school I did the turkey muffins for office staff and after new years a big fruit basket for teachers lounge. High school I just did as much as I could at the booster club level.💙 teachers and administration needs all the support that we can provide

BACK TO SCHOOL?! YES!! I don’t even have school age kiddos anymore and I still love to shop as if I do! Lol you just saved me a bazillion dollars Kim! Now I’ll spend that money on vacation!! Lol put some “happy” in my day!!

My kids go back to school next Thursday on the 5th! I cant wait. They have been home since March 2020. I also bought Ticonderoga pencils for the first time this year! Honestly that is very thoughtful of you regarding their teachers !! they are under paid and over worked and deserve any little thing they receive so Bravo to you :)) making your own granola bar is great I find the costco ones high in sugar... I do oatmeal with butter heat in frying pan add cinnamon brown sugar brown it up it can also go in oven and its SO good on ice cream :) So that would be amazing on ice cream! Cheers to your grandma we called it crunch as kids dont be too hard on yourself I was amazed you knew the recipe off by heart ! Cheers Kim

Note for cactus like plants. Theres specific dirt for them. Cactus soil. That you can buy for them. Helps them drain better.

I usually get teacher gifts for the holidays and at the very end of the school year.I used to do this when my kids were in elementary school.This year my son is a senior. We will probably get his guidance counselor a gift at the end of the year.

Lol “We have two seasons here in Florida HOT and really really HOT.” I absolutely agree with you on that. Kim, I do not know how you survive the Florida weather. I am from California and went to Orlando, Florida July 21-25 the humidity was super high compare to California. I felt like I was a candle slowly melting. Maybe next time we’ll visit Florida during the winter season.
