I'm glad she pointed out that the pockets were 1/4 inch wider than standard Diamond tables. The looked big to me so I wondered about that.
Great job Alec, you have come so far in such a short time, I'm certain this will not be the last time you run deep in the Nationals. Expect some ribbing over those cuffs when you get home, though - just kidding, nobody ever expects to get to the final table their first time there.
Thank you APA for showing some class by upgrading the league’s image by using Diamond tables at your work championships.
This gives me clear confidence I wont stay a 6 long. 3 months back after 12 years away, I see myself becoming a 9 pretty soon maybe a year or so

Love your drive...I have it too !!! Played a handful of times in my life prior to last 4 months. Now it's 2, 21/2 hour sessions, 5 hours daily and my game has skyrocketed...easy 7 now and improving. Come to Chicagoland , look me up for $$$ 9 ball.
A 6 player double elimination tournament took 13 hours?
Looks like Greg would have whipped both of the 9's that played.

When I first heard it, I doubt it. But now I do believe that some level 5 players think they have a chance against Efren Reyes.
What the Heck is the Point system? Why not regular 9 ball?
Ewa without your comments this would be monotonous
What am I missing here? APA promotes itself as "The largest amateur body of pool." So 10 grand for this winner makes them pro's if they accept prize money. So...adding the numbers....if there's prize money, it's open to tour players.
I've been watching your posts for a few years now. Great matches! My only problem is your judges. They need a set place to station and not circle the table. It's a major distraction to have someone walk up beside you when you shoot. At 25:38 the ref bumped into the player! No excuse for that. Your judges need training.
