2023 250cc Motocross Action Shootout

#motorcycle #racing #dirtbike #outdoors
The Motocross Action wrecking crew has been riding, racing and testing the 2023 250 four-stroke models for months now and after gathering opinions from test riders of all shapes and sizes we've finally complied the results of our Shootout. With KTM and Husqvarna being all-new for 2023 and the Kawasaki KX250 receiving a hefty list of changes, our test riders had their work cut out for them, comparing the updated bikes with the unchanged Yamaha YZ250F, Honda CRF250, Suzuki RMZ250 and GasGas MC250F. Watch this video to get our opinion on the pros and cons of each 2023 dirt bike, and then check out our individual test videos on each bike to learn more about them.

The tiny differences between these bikes will never be realized by 99% of riders out there.

Weird how the Hondas and Yamahas are the only bikes to actually win on the track. These rankings are interesting as always

Motocross Action has always hated the new Yamahas. It's funny how they can't get over it, even though every other outlet (and most riders that own them) has no problems with them anymore. They also seem to love the KTM's while all the other outlets don't like them as much. They're not the only ones with perceived bias. Others do it as well. I really feel that it comes down to an unconscious influence between the test riders and editors.

Hey kids don’t base what kind of bike you’re gonna buy off of what these people are saying. It is 80% rider 20% bike. A fast rider can win on any one of these bikes. Go figure dogging on Suzukis again and I’m gonna laugh when Ken Roxsan goes and mops the floor with all these guys on a Suzuki

These shootouts should just have lap times to settle it out. Take bias and preference out of it, overall, which bike allows riders to get around the track the fastest. Have a pro, intermediate, and beginner category.

interesting how well everybodys words on the 23 rmz can be after they get back a lil bit spot light. 21 and 22 where the same bike and evryone was talking shit. there you can see how much input media etc can have. the rmz was never bad it was only the Call

Good honest review! Honestly ive noticed it’s always the American riders and reviews who are hating on ktm a bit stuck in the past as I always say ? Honda and kawi have a strong following in America I get it, but in Europe most bikes in the paddock are ktms and husky. Yamaha’s 3rd I’d say then Honda and a few kawi and only old suz. My buddy hates on ktm like crazy and he hasn’t even rode one, I race against him most weekend when his bike is actually working (fantic 250 2 smoker) always offer my bike to him but he never does.

On thy ktm and husqy the spokes come loose? I heard that several times now on reviews but seems to be taken lightly, I deem it a very serious issue likely ending up in destroying your wheels and/or make a serious crash, not? How can bikes with thise kind of issues end up 1st and 2nd? I don’t understand, also, I’d like to learn what to do about it, thanks!
