2022 Suzuki Hayabusa | First Ride And Impressions | Is This The Best Bike In The World?

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In today's video we got to ride the iconic Suzuki Hayabusa. If you're a biker then there's a good chance you've heard of "The Busa". We were fortunate enough to get to take one out for a while and it blew my mind. Could this be the best bike in the world?
The bike was provided by Cupar Motorcycles in Scotland.

That is a brilliant Review... I loved the bit about the Hayabusa being the only bike being considered - that I won't be disappointed... I've recently swapped Harley Davidson for Ducati... a story - but what a bike a Hayabusa would be... Duly convinced.

Fantastic Hayabusa review I agree on all your thoughts about this bike. I own a 22 Hayabusa and Andy love it. Your Camera set up is amazing. Could you please let me know what Cameras 🎥 your using and the connections to the mirrors . I’d love a helmet and external cam just for an additional layer of safety. Spot on review . Kind Regards James

Hey, James. I'm new to reviewing bikes so still learning so I'm glad you enjoyed it. My camera setup is a GoPro hero 9 for my helmet cam and a GoPro hero 7 on the mirror. It's just a standard GoPro clamp that I use for the mirror can which is powered by a 9v USB on the bike, my helmet cam is powered by a power brick which I keep in my bag. GoPro picture quality is amazing but their battery life is unfortunately pretty poor, that's the reason I like to have them both connected to a power source. Hope this helps. 🤜🤛

Hello again, very interesting video with some good tips. It’s great to see you trying the new bikes out. I went to one of my local motorcycle dealers to try out some of the demo’s that they have. Unfortunately they told me I cannot ride them due to not having my full licence for at least 12months 😩 With only passing my test last November looks like I still have to hold out for another 7 months 🙈

Give your local KTM dealer a call. I test rode an 890 duke literally 4 hours after passing my mod 2. There were a few raised eyebrows and a £1k excess! But who cares. I purchased the bike and everyone was happy.

Some dealers wont allow it. Triumph will let you out but you will be supervised. Some allow you to ride no probs and some allow it with a large excess just in case. Shop around

Great review, lovely looking bike (apart from the exhausts) much improved over the Gen 2, only I feel Suzuki fell short in a couple of areas with this bike. Having been King of production motorcycles, then loosing their crown to Kawasaki, I feared they might just steal it back. However the Gen 2 ZZR 1400 hangs on to its crowns, having retained 210 BHP and also offering more long distance touring comfort to both rider and pillion. I appreciate that Suzuki met the Euro 5 challenge but I'm also glad that Kawasaki refused to strangle their flagship bike. Sure the Suzuki has more electronic aids but the ZZR has still got your Ass when need be without being overly intrusive. You've tried the rest, now you need to compare it to the best. Kirkcaldy Kawasaki is owned by the same proprietor, see if you can borrow a used ZZR 1400. I bought the last registered ZZR 1400 Performance Sport in the UK ( probably Europe) from them. I might even lend you mine for a comparison. Im not knocking the Bussa, I fancied one myself, but I know I made the right choice buying the last of its breed ZZR 1400 👍😀

ZZR1400 is fantastic machine- i had it, but when Gen 3 Hayabusa came out , i knew straight away i want it. Design is absolutely beautiful development of traditional Hayabusa lines. Yes - you can feel it has less power at hyperspeeds ( 250km/h +), but overall it is more accomplished and polished bike. As it should be , being 10 years younger model. If you lean towards long range touring - ZZR will be more comfortable. Hayabusa is more sporty and engaging, and brilliant all rounder.

@@rolandsv8 I must admit the Gen 3 Hayabusa is better looking than the two previous renditions and also a great piece of engineering with all the modern bells and whistles. It almost swayed me but the fact the ZZR1400 was no longer going to be marketed in Europe, meant I was able to buy the last one registered. Also my wife loves to ride pillion and we saw the bike as a better long range tourer, just like you pointed out. I'm rather pleased that Kawasaki didn't strangle their flagship bike by adapting it to conform to Euro 5, it bowed out of Europe still retaining its crown.

Why does everyone complain about the exhaust I’ve seen this bike without dual mufflers it looks horrible Even after market every time you change it from stock it loses its value and since this bike won’t be around much longer I would suggest leaving it completely stock.,, that’s just an opinion do what floats your boat but that’s what I think. Can you imagine finding one of these yrs from now completely stock and well maintained??? Just a thought
