2022 Sinnis Terrain 125 first impressions + VLOG!
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Join me for my very first ride on the Sinnis Terrain 125 - yup, I've donned L Plates (against the wishes of the highway code) to see what life's like for a new rider on a Chinese 125. Lots of stuff to unpack here, lots of waffle about my holidays, D-Day, my new Richa Armada jacket, Blue Peter and… motorbikes. Classic vloggage.

Hooray - enjoy it when it comes!
Good video 😊 I’m 42 and just going to do my CBT. I think this bike would be great for likes of me. 👌
Strange how so many people who consider themselves to be real bikers so readily dismiss anything other than their trendy penis extension. I have a 125 alongside my ‘real’ bike and I have it because it’s really great to ride. Only 10 days ago I loaded it up with my camping gear and went to an event camping with 3000+ other bikers at 1000m high and -11° low. My little bike got a lot of interest and for me it was the icing in the cake for a great weekend. It also coped with the difficult conditions we encountered far better than any of the electronics laden, acronym badged, litre plus adventure bikes there. When you grow up you will hopefully learn that fun and enjoyment isn’t limited to expensive machinery with fast, 0-60 times and high top speeds. Sometimes less that 1/10th of the horsepower returns many times the enjoyment.

I did a later review of the T125 and basically said the same things!
I sweathered between Honda & yamaha after my CBT and thought what I got myself into. My pal found the sinnis for me to practice. Oh boy, it does feel it thicks all boxes as Dereck went through them. Yes, l had to put good tyres on. Cheers Derek 👏
Brochure says 0/60 NA 😂 The only time I rode I had to get off on a hill, even after a full run-up, so this looked pretty powerful to me 🤓
Great bike! Had a Lexmoto once, tempted to get one of these as a winter hack, Mr Fish review was positive too, as great for green lanes! Not fast, but steady, sturdy and great value with the panniers and top box, at least you get to appreciate the countryside and quaint villages at a sensible, safe and legal speed 👊😎👍
Great bikes apart from changing the headlight it is a complete nightmare. Mine has done 22k. Use it to get to work. I change the oil every 1000 miles. Seems to like that.
It's got 12,7 horsepower! That 0,7 matters! :D
Looks very similar to a Derbi Terra 125. I had one years ago to commute daily over the Pennines between Leeds and Manchester in all weathers. Looking back I, rather sadly, made it look like mini BMW GS. It was a great motorcycle though and ended up being very reliable.
Your forever jacket eh? Lots of expansion panels has it?
Not a bad looking bike! It's like a Hypermotard that was washed and dried too hot
It always looks people are riding really fast on videos but knowing Dorking well I can see that's not the case. Impressive up the hill at Newlands Corner as that is a steep long hill also where a long time ago I witnessed an accident where the bike was on the right side of the road but cranking it over on the bend the biker wasn't. Clipping the wing mirror of a car coming up the hill he was through the hedge and moto crossing down the hill.
Genuine question is this worth a buy for a 32 year old 5.11 95kg man to get into riding? Or are there better bikes out there that you could recommend? I am hoping to do a direct pass course but I want something I can get on the road to help me get used to using the gears and something I don't feel/look daft sat on (looking like donkey Kong in a Mario kart) any help or advice would be great thanks.

Yeah it'd be perfect for you I think - you won't feel like it's too small for you. And no 125's going to be fast, so I wouldn't worry. I'm 100kg (or just under) and it was fine...
Curious, what's the learner CC / Hp limit in the UK?

125cc - 14/15Hp
12.5 bhp, it's a beast! I've ridden worse that's for sure
ta moto est une zongshen . elle n'a pas été conçu en grande bretagne mais en chine . .on la trouve partout : argentine bresil ,maroc tunisie , allemagne ( motron ) et en asie
No have in Au. Which is unusual as China owns Australia.
ra ra chai na
Anyone can ride a 125cc, it’s not just for learners
Talks crap about Americans rightly pointing out that if it’s Chinese it’s junk. Then immediately goes into a discussion of only being allowed certain brakes. Yeah that’s way better. Lol
