Had a 2012 with Ram box, loved it so much, best feature, really wish they offered it for long bed and dually.

Luv my 2022 2500 megacab. the brakes are not an issue, the entire truck is fantastic and worth every penny.

It’s 90k because it’s becoming the most popular commercial pick up in otr hot shotting. We have a full size setup for ours if I decide to go back otr.

I love the truck overall, not big on the white on the seats. There are companies, one actually based in Utah that I know of, that do a Mega Cab long bed conversion. It's not cheap, around 9k but they cut the frame and extend it, new drive line etc as well as the 8' bed.

I have an '07' 2wd Mega with the 5.7L Hemi! And as a MEGA Cab owner, I AM SPOILED, I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER PICKUP, very impressed with the rear seat space! Not specifically in need of the power of the Cummins, however if it (The Limited 2500) only comes in that configuration (I'm sure it doesn't) then I'll buy it, but at almost $90,000,,,,,,geees, you know the rest, & regardless of where you are, insurance and TT&L may even push you over that edge. I am actually looking for that EXACT SAME TRUCK (With a darker interior) WITH A 6.4L HEMI, Panoramic roof, and hopes of it being a few bucks less, hadn't seen one yet! I have a 2014 longhorn mega cab. Best truck I've ever owned. Don't know if I'll ever part with her. However there is a 2022 longhorn mega at the dealer down the street. Just gotta convince the wife we need 2...

Just paid $81k (full list price) for my2022 Laramie with 5th wheel prep. Had no choice, It was the only 2500/Cummins in a 100 mile radius, and most dealers are getting over invoice!

I am a ram guy through and through. Very nice truck except for the ram box which is just asking for ding dents scratches and who actually uses unless it's a work truck and this model is not a work truck . I have a ram 2500 very nice truck to me and i wouldn't for a second think about loading anything in my bed side like that.

I can only wish it was $90k US in Australia; Ram’s are converted to right hand drive here and the 2500 is about $125k USD

Wait. My dealer just told me the cargo camera in my 2022 Ram 2500 Laramie would not be released for flash install until sometime during the 3rd qtr. How do you have all your camera’s working? Is my local dealer pulling my chain?

Why is it you can get RamBox with 6.5' bed on 2500, but not on the 1500?

The 2500 Limited MegaCab is best configured with the 6.4 Hemi and 4.10 rear end. You just lose too much payload with the diesel. The ram boxes are great when you tow a travel trailer. Hitch bars, levelers, XChocks, etc.. all fit in quite nicely. If you really want the diesel (most don't actually need it) then the 3500 is a better choice so that you get some payload. Also, the interior you showed is NOT white. It is Indigo/Frost. And the frost is actually a light beige. IMHO it looks sooooo much better than another black interior!

Good pickup on the payload. I haul a truck camper and that really jumped out at me. The Limited with all those options just decreases it even more. The new Ford Maverick has a payload of 1500!

My RAM box keeps breaking. Started breaking 30 days after buying the truck and it’s been back about four times. I haven’t heard back from the dealer in a months about the replacement parts. Just be warned you could encounter this problem too. Other than that I love this truck. For me and my needs, it’s versatility and power are limitless

I also had problems with the latch on my Rambox. There is a TSB to fix the wiring harness which they did but the electronic button also needed to be replaced on mine.

Ben. How’s the reliability on ram trucks?

When are they going to put a 10speed in? Loved my 2019 longhorn mega 3500 but hated the aisen jerky riff shift and crappy mileage and worse when towing 9k.

More gears are not always better. My buddy has the Ford with the 10 Speed. When he tows heavy going up hill, that trans is all over the place searching for the right gear.

Those Cummins are a work of art. The interior is gorgeous here. 90K is wild.

At this price point there really isn't a good excuse for not having one touch up / down windows for all windows, vented rear seats, digital gauge cluster, etc. This is just a few things that jump out at me that other brands have. A $90,000 truck should be LOADED, and sadly while this is an amazing truck, it could and should be better.

I don't think Ferrari puts shit tires on their cars do you ! A 2500 should roll with Michelin tires from the factory.

Ram box, you can get a 4x8 pc off drywall, plywood etc. You really lose no space at all I wouldn't buy a ram without them, All the stuff that usually rolls around in the bed is stored nice and safe

Loved my Ram boxes on my 2015 Ram Limited 2500. I wasn’t sure if would but miss them now that I have a 2022 without them. A lot of storage and don’t really loose in bed space.

Love the American trucks. But what’s with column shift. In Australia we got rid of column shift in 1975. Why still use column shift ?

I have a 2014 RAM with a dial shift. It's my least favorite feature on the truck. (maybe second... the MDS eco 8 to 4 cylinder transfer while driving is THE worst). Personally, I wouldn't buy another truck with a dial shift. It's just lame, and its right next to the heater and radio knob. When you are in a hurry you don't always get it in park. Column shift, or console like the previous years worked just fine. Other than those two design/engineering flaws, it's been a really good truck.

Love it but 90k! I guess I’ll be sticking with my 18 Titan for a while.

The benefits of the ram boxes far outweigh the cons . Love my ram boxes on my 22 limited

Ram should offer 1 diesel option like Ford and GM....The 1000lbft engine for all! And one transmission...the Aisin.. Great trucks though. I've had several and now waiting on my 22 Power Wagon to arrive.

I shop Larry Miller every time I buy. I have never been able to close a deal with LHM. Insane pricing. The last time I shopped LHM was literally over $10,000 difference for the same type of truck and then they low balled me on trade $8500 less than their competitors. I honestly do not know how LHM sells any vehicles.

You identified the wrong latch for laying the seats flats.

That could be said on all the new trucks, its ridiculous what they are pricing trucks these days

Ask the dealer about the bad uconnect systems that they install. And what they do to replace them. That is what they call the radio. They are at least 1600. to replace plus labor.

If you get a 6 seat Mega Cab & have all the seats filled, the rear passengers don’t have cup holders.

I love my rams but I leased a 2021 Bighorn and returned it as it had so many scratches for only having 39 miles on it! I counted 6 scratches in this video. Why is rams starting to make cheaper trucks? If not cheaper why are all the new trucks have scratches in the same areas is it a manufacturer problem?

Still the old body style. The new cabs have been available since 2019 on the 1500’s. The 4th gen cabs are nice but the 5th gen cabs are nicer.

wonder if they will make a canopy that works with a ram box... Still, it's not just Dodge all trucks are way overpriced for many years now people need to stop buying them and force dealerships to drop down to fair pricing it probably only cost 20 to 30k to make one if that.

Rear ac needs to be in the ceiling. Rear seats will block it when folded down. You figure thr designers would know this for vehicles. I took my rear seats out in my 4runner because of that. I dont use the back besides for camping and my dog.

I had the opposite experience....Rams are less desirable around here, so they're cheaper...The Ram website seems to be a bit high too...I paid a lot less for my 22 and my 19 Rams....Even if GM and Ford were cheaper, I'd spend more for the truck I have....

Its $90k because Larry H Miller dealerships are scummy and there are only (5) 2500s on the lot in Sandy, Utah. So LHM needs to only sell one $90k to make up for the lack of inventory of $55-60k trucks.

The floor with the Ram box is the same as any other full size. You can put a full piece of plywood in there. What you loose is the storage on the wheel wells but they are now secure and enclosed in the Ram box. Owned two trucks with Ram box and if I didn’t have a 5th wheel now, I would own it still.

I have a 08 Laramie Mega Cummins, 55k new and I still have it. My new one, dually ,aisin HO Cummins 85k new. It will pull down a house. I bought both used for fractions of the cost of new. This truck is over priced. I won’t buy any new vehicles made during Covid. Too many issues to deal with

These trucks are 90k because people are willing to pay 90k for em

3 things 1) Needs bigger wheels from the factory 2) Pass on the ram boxes 3) The door speakers are in the worst location. It's inevitable they're going to get kicked and dirty. They need to be placed higher.

Tons of storage in the Ram Boxes? Ha. At least Nissan made their equivalent narrow Titan XD bed boxes removable. Not going to seal well or last as long as the rest of the truck. Expect leakage and rust.

The 3500 gets a 400 HP Cummins with 1000 lb ft of torque

$88.000 for tin and plastic plus leather. Top price for that Pickup 45.000 max. I could buy as many new vehicles as I want but I just can't get past the over priced value of these new SUVs and Pickups. My 1986 Chevy Short wide runs like a dream and paint and body motor transmission and interior still looks new and this pickups body is made out of real metal not that then crap there building them now.

Bought 2 homes for less than $90k total and just flipped both for $427k…but yeah, I guess spending that much for one truck is cool.

Or if you’re planning to tow anything… it has a similar towing capacity as a half-ton as well as payload. This truck is a status symbol, and not a work-horse, a half ton for half the price will haul and tow similar numbers

It’s a towing truck !!!! If you want payload get a cab and chassis truck !! There isn’t a better interior truck than the megacab !!! But the Cummins really needs an 8 or 10 speed transmission

Amazing how much you loose going from a 1500 limited to a 2500: panoramic sunroof, knob shifter, automatic 4WD, even overhead view? So weird.

The 2500's with the diesel are a overpriced given the ridiculously low payload rating. I'd go straight to a SRW 3500 for the same price or less.

I have a 2500 with the diesel and it is a fantastic daily driver. Smooth and doesn't constantly down shift like a gasser. It's a six speed so put it in four or five around town is perfect. I get 16 around town and close to 21 on the highway doing 70-75 . That engine is fantastic! Come resale time that truck holds it's value with that diesel.

Its amazing how vehicles cost more than some houses

@Austin TA also wouldn't need this trim level for farm or construction site. Tradesman will work just fine. Another good reason to but an expensive truck if you own a business is to write the whole thing off in the first year under section 179.

@Austin TA I gotcha. So many different uses for different reasons and individuals. I had a pretty heavily optioned Laramie but traded in for Tradesman. I was always worried about staining carpet or seats. Also triple coat black pearl paint had me watching it all the time. Now vinyl seats and floor and basic white paint hauling a truck camper and I dont fret over anything.

No, whats amazing is that in 2020 this same truck out the door at my dealer was about 76k before a few rebates. This much Inflation in such a short period of time is sad.

I have the 2013 laramie longhorn set up like this. I love my truck. Only way it could be better is if it was the mega cab. But, it is a work truck, not a pavement princess like this one. Why on earth would a truck have white seats? Go sell this in California where it is about looks over practicality.

When did trucks stop being trucks. I couldn't get into this off a job site lol. Mud, dirt, dust, and grease would be all over that fancy stuff. This is a girl's truck. Not a man's truck. Heck a pocket knife clip on outside of pants pocket would scratch that thing up. I want reliability with ruggedness.

Leave it to ram to put $100 tires on a 100k truck. Not to meation 5:48 thoes bad boys are at max cold pressure. It must ride like a rock when not towing or hauling. Deflate them to 65
