John Dudley is one of the best shots in the world. I’m sure he would shoot well with any bow his shot cycle is rock solid and his form is impeccable.

Its not the equipment. It's more about the meatsack holding the equipment. But. If the meatsack likes the equipment or the meatsack believes the equipment is good. The placebo effect comes into it and the meatsack will shoot well with it.

@@sahhull Or Because everyone said my first Bow was crap ( Horizone / redzone Bow ) I shot it really well and as I want to prove them wrong. BUT it did wear out fast. And it was a cheap crappy Bow .BUT that also put massive expectations on my next way more expensive Bow .

Hey Steve I really value your vids and opinions! Thank you for the work! I have read that PSE discontinues most products after 3 years? Is that not something you have ran into? I'm sorry if you touched on this in this video it was kind of somewhat hard for me to hear you real clear.

Steve, the 2022 EVO XF and 2021 EVO EVL are both listed at $1199 at Lancaster Archery. Hope this helps clear up the confusion.

I shot a S2 cam XF33 last week and didn’t see any significant advantage over my EVL 34 except being able to use a 2 piece quiver and gaining 4-5FPS.

Hello, Own a Hoyt Carbon Matrix. Haven't shot in several years due to an accident with spine injury. Is it possible to use longer bolts for getting a lower drawweight then originally is intended ? Like 45 pounds instead of 50 pounds ? Maybe from there i can work up again. But 50 pounds is to much at the moment. And i would really like to get into shooting again. But don't want to buy a completely new bow.

In reference to people not shooting perfect scores FYI- at the US indoor nationals three women shot perfect scores ( every hit was an x) over two days. Three different bow companies represented.

Just drawing back on experience from bows for yesterday. The Obsession Evolution and Phonix seem to be close in spec to this bow. Phoenix was 7 brace and 340,,,,Evolution was 6 inch brace and 350. Limb stopped bows with mods. I heard PSE sued Obsession/Kevin Strother over the Evolution cam which became the EC cam ? Not sure the validity of that,I tried to find the lawsuit to no avail, but heard that more than once.

I am a beginner archer who is looking for budget priced compound bow. Can you please review a bow called "Mission Rally" by Mission archery(Mission by Mathews) or also known as Mathews Gen x won? And compare it to "Junxing Pheonix" by Junxing from previous review. Thank you and I always watch your videos!

Just my own gripe, but all bows are too expensive. I can take a $200 now and kill all the deer I need to with it. That $1700 bow will not kill them any deader than a $200 bow. I understand all the features, but it’s not worth it. These days, to show bow or golf, you need to be a millionaire to afford the equipment. It’s insane. They will eventually price themselves out of business. My favorite bows made today are Bowtech and Elite. Bowtech is built like a tank, but Elite is more refined and has the better draw cycle for me. I cannot afford either one of them. I have shot them. I hate PSE due to the needing of the special fingers for my press to work on one. That is the only brand I cannot press and I will not spend the over priced amount for those special fingers just to press one bow.

@@jaysonsulser6099 Totally agree with you both. The archery industry are full of over priced equipment. However if people are willing to pay, the companies will continue to produce. I've only owned 5 bows and I've always bought used condition bows. The odd feature isn't worth an extra 500 and the newest latest and greatest feature will not work miracles on the shooting line case in point the Elite SET feature, totally overrated and designed exclusively for the fools obsessed with bullet holes
