The way this is shot, cut and overall produced is world class level and on par with The Grand Tour and stuff like that. Props to your team.

The editing decision to not see but hear the car at the beginning was brilliant! Add to that your reactions to the sound of the engine (especially James's baby owl cries of joy 😂) and Thomas being near tears of joy highlight was an amazing car this is. And by the way, congrats to you all on surpassing the 2M subscriber mark! It's very well deserved. Onward to 3 million and beyond!!!

MAN, the best part of this video is to see how far you guys have come. I remember DM'ing you way back in the day when you were still doing track tutorials in your E46. How 5 years flew by, so proud to see you guys playing around with Chris, flying in a GT4RS.

The throttle house team is by far the best on KZread! Amazing content with insane quality of production, chemistry and writing. The fact that you can make Chris Harris a small side plot says enough!

But then again why change something that already looks good. Could you imagine if M3's today could just look like modernized E46's? or E30's? Or how grand would it look if Mercedes benz still had some of the design language of the 600's.

Yes it's expensive, twice as expensive as some cars that you mentioned. However, can't you imagine this being auctioned off for silly sums of money in maybe even less than 10 years? It's brand new and it's already a classic.

@@BurgoYT yeah, it's a balancing act. But I'm still of opinion that for majority of the owners, the car will be nothing more but a garage queen. Due to the potential appreciation factor becoming an investment and not a pleasure to enjoy. Hence nothing more but a bragging right.

On a side note: this is why so many of us hate seeing the demise of ICE cars. No electric drivetrain nor speaker can replicate the visceral noise of a thoroughbred combustion engine. Brilliant, again! As an owner of a tuned 718 Cayman S that I feel is already rocket ship like and handles so well, NA/turbo differences aside, I just can't imagine what this GT4RS drives like. As others have said, Porsche created an new classic.

I love the Cayman, and I absolutely adore the GT4 (and the RS) and I always say that due to the mid engined layout of the Cayman Is dynamically better………. But I still want a 911, even if the 911 is inherently flawed with the engine hanging out the arse.

GT3 will be easier to get then the GT4 RS. I am trying to get a GT3 but if they made an RS with a six speed I would love to "try" to get one. I have a Cayman S and I love the mid engine layout.

Fantastic video once again! Production is spectacular. Keeps getting better somehow!?! Only thing I would say is maaaaaybe get helmets of your own...that fit? James's wouldn't help in a crash at all. Always look forward to your videos guys, thank you. Dammit, I need a Porche now.

Great video as usual! You guys destroy! Definitely you deserve a tv program! Cayman GT4 RS is not German is Switzer rsrsrs top level of driving precision rsrsrs Amazing to see Chris Harris in the video rsrsrs He is the guy!

You know what I love about this show? It seems like lately were waiting over a year for a hit or miss new Grand Tour episode, and yet these gents pump out quality episodes that entertain me every few days. They have the charm, and natural comic flair that The Grand Tours presenter's once had a long time ago now. Their filming, editing and sound selection is as refined as those shows as well that huge budgets to draw on. Good job guys keep up the great work and don't be afraid to play with your successful formula here and there.

What a beautiful sound in a perfect car. I just couldn't do without a manual in something so engaging and experience-driven. I get the PDK of course because it's a laptime monster, but where I live, all the damn racetracks are closing, which means I'd need to take it elsewhere to drive it to its potential as opposed to be stuck with 2 gears (or 1 with the regular manual GT4...). Sometimes I wish a smaller lighter 2.0L H6 (half scaled 4.0L GT4RS) existed in a lighter car to be able to wring it out on the streets in legality, maybe go through 3 full gears with that in-cabin orchestra. lol

Having Chris on the intro is the only "crossover" I'm willing to like.

You guys make brilliant videos. Think you have the highest level of content in a car review channel I have ever seen (I watch tons of those). It would be fantastic if you review an Alpine a 110. Everyone loves it and I am curious to know what you think about the small french car.

It surely does sound great, and also is very distinctive. And, yes sound is a matter of taste. But the sound of a V12 Ferrari, a 812 Competizione for example, sounds just so much better. Especially in the low RPM range, but also at 9000 rpm.

In terms of interior sound, yes. Exhaust sound? No, not in my opinion. It is up there with other stock exhausts but a Novitec exhaust on any V12 Ferrari is godly.

Porsche was not really my favourite. But when I saw the review of it on Doug DeMuro's channel, I was just blown away. This is now my all time favourite sports car.
