That front grille with no air vents in the usual place is pretty unique and honestly sick! I imagine it is to hide sensors like every OEM does, but not just hiding sensors behind a large logo is a different take and I dig it.

Solid review MPH. I'm not favoring the body style but the interior is classy, the ride seemed silky smooth, and the quietness of the MB EQS 450+ is superior. Thanks for the POV test drive!

I hate the smell of leather; it makes me sick. Does all leather smell weird?

The exterior isn't beautiful or special, the interior is okay, the infotainment display is ground breaking. 6 out of 10. 😕

It looks like a soap bar

Since this is supposed to be a Mercedes-Benz & not some Tesla or BMW or Masarati etc., I expect to see the upright standing star back on top of the bonnet, reduce the size of the star on the steering-wheel (too big relative to steering-wheel size !) back to what used to be like on W140 or 126 etc., 4-spoke steering, less glossy fingerprint magnet surfaces, more brown colour visible woodgrain panel of matt surface finish instead...then i'll give this car some serious consideration ! Overall point is, don't change for change sake, don't meddle with approaches which 'works'...it's ok to innovate BUT there must be that fine balance between 'proven traditional' practices & appearances versus state-of-the-art innovations...don't just anyhow throw away all of the past (as if they never existed) & blindly copy bits here & there of what others are doing in the current times etc. That approach may apply to a brand of lesser significance but for a brand like the Mercedes-Benz, my expectations have to be different & higher as i expect my new Mercedes-Benz to be able to 'blend in' with the other older models !
