I think they should have gone further to make this a true entry level model. There are lots of people who use it on sealed roads only and never tow but want to blend in on a construction site. Like, removing the 4wd system but keep the ride height, adding a 5 speed manual option, remove bedliner, make rear windows manual, use steel wheels. I think all that would bring the price down by at least 5k, maybe more.

Good review. Why are you still using high range for hill descent? And is there a benchmark vehicle for comparing this feature? Most vehicles seem to go too fast but maybe all of them would work well in low range. I'm sure many viewers would wonder the same. Cheers Paul.

hello, can you re-review the triton especially the traction control test? To be honest this 1.9 l engine is kinda ok if you using it for daily and mud off roading, oh to me its power feels like toyota hilux 2.4 but with good fuel consumtion. the fuel efficiency is the main salepoint here,in my country achieveving 1000km milage per fuel tank is possible in stock and around 800-900km is possible in 31inch mt tires with 250kg load in the tub.

The rear lights are not halogen. They are just incandescent. Halogen is quite different and is what they use in headlights (when not LED or Xenon etc) and are very bright compared to incandescent. The door test should be consistent across all vehicles and be done with the windows closed (like you normally do). With an open window it changes the internal pressure when the door is shut.

Hi, I would like to seek some advice from the experts here. I have the 1.9L BT-50 2022. However, my kids have been complaining that they feel like vomiting every-time we go on long rides on highways. Is there a quick an easy fix improve the ride? I saw some youtube mentioning to downsize from the stock 17" to 16" wheels for thicker tires. Will this help? or should I look into upgrading the suspensions? I don't do much heavy lifting, it's more of a lifestyle utility vehicle for my family to go occasional camping. Hope to hear some advice here. Thank you in advance.

@@calvinbrillus6507 I'm not worried about this smaller engine at all. And I don't believe GWM ever went bankrupt. They did pull out of Australia but have returned bigger and stronger which a bunch of other companies have done in the past. I no way am I campaigning for the GWM or LDV or any other budget ute. I was merely asking how this compares to those vehicles for less money. The biggest problem reported with the budget utes was power compared to the more powerful versions of competitor utes. Now that power is on an even playing field with vehicles such as this BT50 what car makes more sense?

7:15 reviewers often get the USB plug type wrong, or mischaracterize what it is. USB-A is the small plug with the two little retention tabs, and has clear top and bottom sides. USB-C, ie the newer type, has no retention tabs on the plug, and is the same top and bottom, therefore it doesn't matter which way 'round you plug it in. These should not be confused with a standard USB port, like what this pickup has. Many vehicles use standard ports like this, so that a flash-drive with music, navigation files etc, can be plugged in. Alternatively, you can also plug in your phone via a standard USB-A, USB-C, or Apple cord, which your device would have come with. If vehicles have actual USB-A or USB-C plugs, as some do, special cords for needed to plug in your device, such as a USB-C - to - USB-C cord. Moral of the story, nothing is wrong with a standard USB port. It is the most versatile type to put in a vehicle, since every type of device can be plugged in without the need for special cords or adaptors.
