Yea I def prefer the 570 over this for sure but yes the 600 will fare much better I’m sure in crash tests, if the Tundra is anything to go by, that is the safest new truck now so I’m sure this LX600 will follow suite and it comes with newer safety tech. I just don’t enjoy the way it drives and the markups are crazy. Use the leasehackr forum to see which luxury cars are being sold at a good deal right now.

My family took delivery of our LX600 a few months ago and we’re enjoying it. We paid over msrp; however, these things are now selling for crazy amounts of money on the used market (some well over 200k). We still have our LX570 which has given us zero issues so we decided to keep it in the family. We’re looking forward to many years with our LX600.

I kind of agree with the deletion of massaging seats on the driver's side. Massaging seats + heated seats + heated steering wheel = a sleepy driver. Driver's are supposed to be alert. Yes but this isn’t a small child getting a project done for school…this is Lexus a multi billion dollar company with every resource known to man at their disposal. I expect nothing less than perfection…ok fine I at least expect it to be better than the vehicle that it replaces. In fairness I’ve noticed other companies taking steps backwards as well. All of this will be irrelevant in 5-8 years so doesn’t matter I guess

@@walterndlovu6329 it's okay. For that kind of coin I'd expect more. This vehicle isn't for the off road crowd. Target market is major metro area mom and pops. I'd much rather have an old V8 Land Cruiser The LX600 is an over engineered Ford Country Squire estate car/station wagon gone wild. Free market and choice but I'd rather have the older model. I've got 5 Lexus and Toyota products at the moment but will say they easy to deal with for warranty issues. good review

So the first and easiest step it to just start making content on your own car. Review your car and just put it out there. I sold all my camera equipment and I do everything exclusively on my IPhone 13 pro max and I edit on an iPad now with an M1 chip using Lumafusion. Really simplified the process. Once you’ve experimented with your car and you’re now comfortable speaking to the camera and you have your basic editing now to where you get rid of redundant words like Um, you can then start reaching out to some local dealerships. Probably easier to start with used car dealerships even though people aren’t as interested in used cars nowadays, do what you have to do to get content and experience. Then maybe hit up some new car dealers and finally reach out to press media fleets for weekly press cars. Expect to be ignored and and expect to hear lies and lots of No’s but keep at it and never sound needy

Yea you can’t just deal with a sales person like that. You have to tell them you have a channel and are willing to advertise for them for free. Regardless of that most dealers will still tell you no. Granted if I owned a dealership and some kid walks in saying they want to drive my car for KZread I would tell them to piss off as well so I’m not mad at these dealers. Some people have actually bought cars from the dealerships I’ve done reviews at and those dealers still ghost me despite sending them business. If you go through life expecting perfection from highly imperfect people you will be left disappointed very quickly. Nowadays I just take matters into my own hand and just buy/rent vehicles to review. I realize not everyone can do that but that’s just what it’s come to.

I've always loved the LX line, but was really disappointed with how cramped this generation feels from the inside. It's clearly not meant to be used as a vehicle that hauls people in it more than it would be used a a single person driving it alone. The rear seat leg room is not pleasant at all, regardless of how it's adjusted. I just don't understand why Toyota/Lexus limited the interior so much considering how large it is from the exterior. Even the new Sequoia has more usable interior passenger space. WTH Lexus!

So a Lexus that's about the price of a small house (or close)... If I can retrofit a bathroom and bed in that thing, that might not be bad as a very fancy yet tiny RV lol (an actual travel trailer or fifth wheel is much better for living but I'm broke so yeah)

Big Kev! Love your content bro. As far as this LX…I think Lexus dropped the ball on this one. I never liked the infotainment screens as it looks tacked on as an afterthought. And the lack of a pano roof for that price point is not forgivable. I’d choose the Grand Wagoneer over this anyday.

nice suv, but personally I'm not spending a $120k to take it off road. Have a gx470 with 100k miles and it has been bulletproof. as to the 3.5 twin turbo in the LX600, no thanks (same with the Tundra) I doubt these engines will go 500k like the V8

Maybe it would grow on me and it's easy to say 'sour grapes,' but I'm not liking all the logos and ad space for all the gizmos on the main screen. I have a 2017 LX and it just has the MARK LEVINSON logo. I put the OEM wireless charger in my LX and downsized my iPhone to the normal Pro, and it also doesn't charge after a few seconds, my guess is the MagSafe magnets tell the charger metal is present. My kid's iPhone XR charges without issue.

The real take away from that is, you can have a super capable off road SUV that doesn’t compromise ON ROAD comfort. The same way the Camaro is a sports car that not only handles amazing but rides amazing as well. Technology has come a long way, we can have our cake and eat it too. We pay too much money to get mediocrity
