2022 Kia K5 AWD 0-60, 0-100 and Braking Tests
Engine: 1.6T, 180 HP & 195 lb.-ft. of torque, 8-speed automatic, AWD
In this video, I test out the 0-60 and 0-100 MPH times of my new car, the 2022 Kia K5 AWD. I also tested it’s ride quality/braking performance on a backroad. Overall, not bad for an AWD midsize sedan! It channels the “baby Stinger” vibes reasonably well I say. It’d be an interesting rally/snow day car on the backroads haha. I installed a K&N air filter on the K5, too.

Here your numbers: About 8 seconds 0-60 w/AWD, half a second faster in FWD models. Just over 5 seconds 0-60 if you get the GT model with the 2.5T. But - the GT can’t be had with AWD... Kia makes you jump to a Stinger. 0-100 was 22 seconds. 0-60 in the Saturn is roughly the same - 8 seconds, but it’s a FWD V6.

but…with a JB4 on map3 and good fuel, it should leave really hard with full boost and no spin

my sonata 1.6 with no awd spins bad. have to pull 1st gear boost to stop spin. best 0-60 is 6.45 with a draggy. +3.0 boost with 93 and e85 mix

@@buschenterprises4788 I had a 17 1.6T optima tuned for 93 and it was the same way. Inconsistent launches because the tires spun so easily in 1st. That + better handling is why I switched to the awd K5.
