2022 Keystone RV Factory Tour / Montana Fifth Wheel (Part 2 of 3 tours )

Welcome to our channel. This video is part two of three, of our tour of the Keystone RV Company complex and the Montana Luxury factory. As a brand ambassador for the Keystone Montana RV, we recently attended a two day rally, where we were given in depth, behind the scene tours. Not only did we tour the factory but the entire company. We got to visit their customer service department, parts department and the innovation lab, where the engineers work to develop new products, as well as develop new ways to make existing products better. Join us for all three videos, as we tag along with the folks at Keystone RV as they share their story with us.

    Yes I agree Keystone is listening We are on our 3rd Keystone RV & any chance I got to disprove a dislike for Keystone RV on social media I did. Not knowing anyone from Keystone RV was watching/listening. I did it from the heart & still do. Keystone RV spotted me on social media defending the brand. Defending myself as well. I wanted the world to know that there are good campers/rigs & happy Keystone RV Owners as well as the complainants. I got a phone call from a Keystone Rep asking to send 4 ladies down to meet me & I became an Owner In The Spotlight Jan 2019 What an honor that was. My husband & I love the company & love the brand. I shout it from the roof tops We were very fortunate to meet the CEO Of Keystone RV. He's a great guy who goes out of his way for people He's down to earth like you & I. I have an inside track to Keystone RV as well & help many on the FB group pages get the help they need. Kudos to you & your Montana.

    2015 Montana 3711FL legacy - had to have my hydraulic support arms reinforced because the metal used on the arms is not strong enough steel - also the teeth on the hydraulic arms are plastic and do not stand up to the weight and constant in and out - did they upgrade any of these?

    Just found your video this morning Great video and thanks for posting it. We had been looking for a 35’ rear living 5th wheel for a long while. We looked every major mfr and brand. When we walked into the Montana we knew this was it the fit and finish was spot on, the features ticked all but 3 boxes for us. We bought it right there. Our friends bought the sister unit built 9 days apart. He and I are both certified RV inspectors so when I say we checked these RVs over we really did. We found some things that needed to be fixed but nothing that was major and nothing that said poor quality like you here on social media. When we inspect RVs there are some that made us realize just how good the Montanas are. We are very happy Montana owners. Please pass along these four suggestions to Sam 1. Add a full size 4 burner residential stove and oven 2. Storage behind the fireplace 3. Disk breaks 4. Larger fresh water drain valve 2” would be perfect. Safe travels and happy RVing

    Honestly we don't even feel comfortable having any in there while parked. There's not a front support to keep them from falling out. Keystone is listening to everyone's concerns about that and for the 2022 Montanans they changed it. On a positive note, there's a gentleman who makes custom doors for the wine rack. You can find him on Facebook at the following link. facebook.com/RV-Cabinet-Solutions-2363323443784416/

    We've been in the Alpine 3712KB, 3 different RV dealers, and each one had out side doors that didn't close right, or trim that fell off, wires sticking out from under the slide inside and on all 3 identical units, the "barn doors" in bedroom was either off the track, or was broken off the track. Had one with the show doors were laying in the tub. Now, either this is from reckless RV transporters, lazy dealers or poorly done at the factory. And we're down to 2 5th wheels to buy in the next couple months, the Alpine 3712KB, or the Grand Design Solitude 390RK. The Solitude is now over $110,000 !

  • @Jonesin2Go

    @Jonesin2Go

    Wow that's alot damage. Sure makes you wonder about the transporters. It is nice to hear that you are paying attention to the details when shopping. those kind of things for sure should have been addressed by the dealer when they took delivery . As Montana owners we haven't looked at any Alpines but will be doing so in a few weeks at the Tampa supershow. We had a subscriber request a walk-through video of one so we will be looking for some at the show. If you have a specific Alpine floor plan you would like to see let us know and we will try to get a video out for you. Thanks for watching and happy shopping.

    Great video. I would love to take a tour of their factory. I'm very interested in the solar packages, especially the 1200i. Hopefully you'll have that out soon. I was also wondering how all the shortages was affecting how they are building the units and if they're using different parts/manuracturers since they're not able to get what would normally install.

  • @Jonesin2Go

    Hi David thanks for leaving a comment. Our hope is to get back out to keystone this spring and talk about solar some more. We are planning to convert to lithium and add some more solar to our Montana. Keep in mind that the 1200I package Is exclusive to the montana Brand at this time. The other keystone Brands go to the 600I on select brands. But hey why wouldn't you go with the Montana right? Lol can you tell we are a bit partial to Montana? So thanks for supporting our channel we will get that video out as soon as we can. I am excited about doing it.

    Sorry to hear you are having trouble Tony. You say you have had it for 10 months, can I assume you purchased it new? What model year do you have? Have you contacted the dealer where you purchased it to have these issues corrected? If your unit was purchased new and is only 10 months old then it would still be under warranty and Keystone will surely take care of you.
