Dude it was literally perfect! I got to ride with zero limitations, I had such a blast.

Nice bikes for sure. Demo truck next Friday in Lancaster County Pa. Looking forward to riding the Chief Bobber.

I test rode the super chief with the 116 I fell in love with it. Sport mode is awesome

I got the chance to ride one of these at my local demo days and it's a friggin sick bike! Definitely my personal favorite for the ultimate runabout bike! But my dude- friggin downshift, man! You've got the poor thing wrapped up to within 1k of redline in 3rd gear just tootling down the highway at 55 - 60! You're in an easy group ride, not a canyon carving competition. You actually did bounce off the red zone just 'easing' it out of some of those corners going 75 in 3rd gear. Those other gears are there for a reason! lol.

Hi. Great video! You pushed me over the edge to get one. I just came home with a white smoke chief bobber. Preowned with only 1100 miles on it and already fixed up exactly with the accessories that I would want to do myself. The only thing missing is a windshield. The wind is awful at 60-65 mph. I have looked a little bit online and I really don’t see anything other than what Indian produces. We all know that Indian charges an arm and a leg for their accessories. Do you have any recommendations or knowledge of windshields for the bike? I can’t get a replacement windshield because I don’t have the hardware. I saw that one company only produces replacement windshields. Any help that you may provide would very much be appreciated. Thank you.

That’s so awesome! Unfortunately I don’t have much information on windshields I’ve never looked into them! Hopefully someone in the comments can help you out better.

Next ride you can change that speedo display with the swipe of a finger on the screen itself (or a toggle of the bottom-right switch on the left-hand side) if you are so interested next time.

Only on the 116 models. This has a lower spec gauge that doesn't have that functionality

@@kurt-kq7se The first bike he rides has the 111 and basic gauge. The second bike in the video has the 116 and more digital speedo display. It was the second bike with that funciton that I was refering to. Cheers.

I hated this video! I made up my mind to get the Scout and now I'm not sure anymore! Seriously, though, great video. I could feel how much fun that was.

Hey I appreciate the feedback! Sorry about the wind noise I noticed that when I edited it, I'm gonna push the mic back a bit more into the cheek pad it slipped forward a bit since last year. Hopefully the next video you won't notice it at all.

I removed the muffler on the Chief, totally blown away…

Highway speeds after a few hours you could have a stiff neck but I didn’t have any issues with it at all.

Serious question, though. Handling alone, I've compared the Chief to a bunch of HDs the new Rebel 1100, and several japanese bikes of various types. Even the FTR. But I have yet to ride a Scout! Handling only, not power or anything else, just how it turns in and rolls and rides handling wise - how would you compare the two? I have been shocked to find that pretty much nothing I ride handles like this Chief, I'm curious if Indian put the same mojo into the Scout or if it feel a little different. Keep in mind I have the mid controls and 19" mag front wheel with 130 tire.

@@cmatycycles8286 I would never give my Scout Bobber away, find this deep rounded look very cool. The Chief Bobber looks too misshapen to me from the side, the tank stands out so far from the high engine. But it's just my taste. :P

Hmm that's a super tough question I love them both! The scout for me just had alot of sentimental value for me. Both bikes are absolutely amazing to ride though.

Polaris makes a good motorcycle and snowmobile. Indian closed their doors in the fifties.
