I disagree. I love the current generation Tucson interior for its sleek, seamless, and flowing style throughout the cabin. However, we all know the 2025 Tucson facelift will feature a newly designed interior that is more reminiscent of the Sportage. I would say better though because you don’t have to toggle between climate and media controls.

Loved this. I totally agree that it really looks like a difficult decision between this and the Sportage. They both clearly have their own touches that will sway you either way. Normal Hybrid version definitely seems the one to get if finances allow. Another fantastic review Dan!

Why you see more Tucson’s on the road is because if you lease it , the top spec is £100 less monthly than the Sportage

Nice and detailed review. You mention towards the beginning that you're seeing more of these Tucsons than the Sportages. Remember that the Sportage came out a year or so after the Tucson, so it hasn't had as much time to sell. I've got the Tucson full-hybrid in the same trim and colour as the one you tested, and it's great.

That’s very true, although most people I’ve asked have said they prefer the look of the Tuscon! Sounds like you picked the perfect spec for one of these. The full hybrid is a great package.

I updated to be one of the kind on road. I have spray the sliver Skid plat and tail pipe to glass black to match the rest glass black.

I cancelled a premium trim mild hybrid and treated myself to the N line S self charging. Everything I read/saw recommended the self charging over the mild and really glad I cancelled and reordered now!!

I got my Tucson Hybrid today.

Tucson has air diffuse and that alone makes the diff for me. The whole interior is more balanced and clear.

Are you driving the Dark Knight Gray Pearl colour?

Great review, thank you. I have been looking at both the Kia and the Tucson, test drove the Kia last weekend and was very impressed. trying the Tucson this weekend. Interestingly, when I have looked at deals on both, there seem to be more offers about on the Tucson and discounts seem to be higher. What is putting me off about the Kia is the finance deal available (3 years/8.4%), which means an eye watering deposit to get anywhere near a comfortable monthly repayment for me. Hoping this will be slightly better with the Hyundai at 7.3%. I’m not sure if this is due to deprecation of the brand or how the market views the residual value of EV/Hybrid. I do have a question re the N lineS/Ultimate spec. Is it just a case of exterior styling (and possibly manual adj front seats on the N line S v the Ultimate spec)or is there more? I spoke to the Hyundai salesman yesterday on the phone and asked about the lane change cameras and he was trying to tell me that they were only available on the Santa Fe, so it doesn’t fill me with confidence that he would know the differences between and N line S and an Ultimate.

Good luck with the decision. Best bet because the spec are always changing is to download the latest brochure/price list from the website, because that will list all of the standard and optional equipment for each trim based on model year! I think you’d be happy with either, personally I’d go self charging hybrid regarding of which I ended up with, but thats just me.

I found and downloaded the latest brochure right after writing my comment, couldn’t see it for looking yesterday😀 I agree that the self charging hybrid is the right choice, just need to see if my budget will stretch to the Ultimate, and definitely leaning towards the Shadow Grey body colour, i think it looks great.

Hi Dan, I’ve been looking at purchasing a suv either a Kia or Tucson, I like the interior of the Kia like yourself but to be honest it’s only going to be myself in the vehicle 95% of the time, is there a smaller car with the same style of interior as the Kia with all the tech, thanks Tony

@@anthonybrown2143 Interior is very similar to the sportage, and its still an SUV package, but much smaller.

That my car love it so much pleasure to drive 😊

As someone who does 200 miles a week, with 110 of that 200 being motorway miles, is this good for me
